I had a car accident in Aug 2011 and paid everything like $150 and 1 year later 2012 September  they said i paid nothing then i had to talk to the collection and they tried to make me pay $700 and i had to go back to my old insurance to get the papers saying it was paid for and now December 2013 there calling again saying nothing is paid and now i owe $1,000 wow crazy. They call me twice a day, leave a voice mail, telling me to return their important call. They never tell me why or who they are. One time, I made the mistake of answering my cell, the guy asked if I was so-and-so, and I would not tell him. I asked him his name and he gave me a first name. I then asked him 'do I know you' and 'what do you want', and he just kept asking me if I was so-and-so, so I just hung up on him. He was very pushy and rude. I don't owe any debts to anyone, and if I did, then I would have been contacted through the mail. My cell phone is registered with the national do-not-call list, and I am being harassed by these people.

I keep getting call about medical bills. I called my doctor to ask if a have or ever have had a bill. They told me no. This place keeps saying that I do, but can't tell me the doctor or what is for. I have asked for a bill and never got one. I don't know if this place is legit or a scam.

These people have been calling because of a "debt to a hospital". The debt is from 5 years ago when my son broke his arm. It was $178.00 and was paid 5 years ago! He was 10 at the time and they said that he had to pay it! They keep "fishing" for more info. about the parents and I will not give it to them. They will not produce any records to even trace back the last 5 years. Just stupid collection agency.

actually, it is a legit attorneys office, it is not just to scare people into paying their bills.  They will sue you for your outstanding debt because you are too much of a thug to pay your debt and that is why it costs so much to go to the doctor; because there is $141 BILLION out there in unpaid medical debt, the hospitals have to compensate for their losses.  At the very least it will be reported to the credit bureaus, so I hope you like high interest rates!

It's not always about a choice of whether to pay or not..... OR was it a choice to go to the hospital a$$hole.  There's many reasons why our healthcare is out of control, not just people who can't pay.  The government doesn't even pay the majority of the time via medicaid or medicare.  This "law office" and I used that term loosely....  collects on medical debts, not a credit card you used to go to the mall shopping.  When hospitals charge $52 for a Tylenol, there's a problem!

I have not owed any money to anyone, I have a maryland phone number, and they keep calling me! I tell them the person they are looking for isn't here! And they say they will remove the number, they fail to do so and I have been receiving calls for 3 months... 2 more calls and my lawyer says its harrasment since we sent a certified letter of do not contact! Why can't they just leave us alone! Also they call us and we are in a different time zone, causing inconvienences!

these jerks keep calling me too... the idiot that called me wouldn't tell me who they were or why they were calling until i gave them the last 4 of my ssn.  i called the one place i owed money to and confirmed that they are a collections agency, but they say there an attorneys office (prolly to scare people into paying) just tell them your not who there calling for and to remove the number from there system.

Called our business line and we are a small company so our voice mail answers and we call back but it was a work lentz on caller id and left a message but didn't say who for or what they wanted. We do not allow personal calls so this went to do not call bin.

Calls just leaving message to call.  Never specifies company calling for, and I have no idea how they would/or why they would be calling cell phone.

They are calling for my mother not me and I havent spoke to my mother in 2 years and wondering why they are calling me on my cell when my husband pays the bill and its eating up my mins because an automated system answers it

Medical collection in OKC and Tulsa who work strictly on a contingency basis.  It's bad debt that's been written off so anything they can bully out of an unsuspecting consumer is pure profit.  All you have to say to them is "put it in writing" (cuz if it ain't in writing, it didn't happen). On 2 separate occasions I have sent them a "prove to me I owe you ANYTHING" letter and they folded like a house of cards and I didn't pay a dime of the $7K they claimed I owed one of the big med ctrs in OKC.  They bounced the billing error back to the original creditor who has written it off.

I have repeatedly told Works and Lentz for them to stop harrassing me at work and on the job but they continue to call 3 times a day, morning , noon and at 5 pm. and they are leaving long messages and threats about medical bills from my exwife.  What Can I do to stop this harrassment??
