If you got some other numbers, please post it...so for people who use Call Blocking or own a Panasonic phone can enter the number in advance. For those who don't use both, can print out a list, so next time you received a call can just check whether the number is on the list.....

Got a call from this number and the recording said Canadian travel Ledger was awarding me a bunch of travel points for a trip to CAncun and Florida. I pressed 1 so I could chat them up, but as soon as I pout it on speaker the call disconnected.

Travel Ledger awarding me a free cruise, press 1 to claim prize.  Surprise! When operator picked up she got an earful of whistle.  Love that whistle! Get one.

On April 15, 2011 at 2:14 P.M., I received a call from 406-219-2364.  A recorded

woman's English-accented voice said that the Canadian Travel Leger was calling to

inform me that I had just been selected to receive 5 days and 4 nights in  Cancun,

Mexico as well as 5 days and 4 nights in Orlando, Florida. She said I should press 1 on

my telephone keypad to claim my holiday and to receive more details on what I had

won. The line went silent so I hung up. Obviously it was a scam.

Recorded message saying we had been selected for five night cruise and five nights in Florida, press 1. Pressed 1, rang through to a real person who hung up when I said (nicely) to remove me from the call list. When I called back, I was advised to press 1 to be removed from the call list. When I did, it went click and I got a dial tone.

Area code 406 is "Montana", but the caller-ID probably was spoofed.

Called my DO-NOT-CALL number at 10:03 AM Pacific.  I answered, but heard nothing but "dead-air"; their auto-dialer must have dropped the call, or else "all their agents are busy servicing other customers".

Unknown name, did not answer. Left recorded message, female voice. Lucky Me. I won a free cruise from a number in Montana! All I had to do was push the #9 key! Wow!

What a tired old scam....

I had my number on the DNCL and was bothered ++++++ by scammers. Then I moved and got a new phone number. Did not subscribe to DNCL this time and I'm not bothered nearly as much - so there is truth to the suspicion many of us have that scammers use the DNCL as a source of bona fide phone numbers.

The scamming comes in waves - I'll get a pile of calls over a week, will deal with them and then it all stops for a while. Then some scammer will randomly generate my number and call when I am out - get put through to voice mail, and in that way confirm my number is a 'real' one (a phone number that is assigned to someone). They then sell the number to other scammers and that will start a new wave of scamming.

How do I deal effectively with scammers? When the phone rings, I don't let it go to voice mail but pick it up. I don't say a word and when no one speaks on the other end, I know I have a scammer or telemarketer (who I don't care to talk with either). I then tap the # sign 3 or 4 times and the scammer will disconnect the line. The reason they do that is because #### sends a signal that the number they called is not a 'real' number and so they remove it from their list. By being consistent with this, I will go into a new period of time where no scammers call. Try it - it works. I learned it from searching the internet for solutions to this 21st century infestation.

Received a call April 22 at 10:45 a.m..  Didn't answer as shows 'Out Of Area' so know it's a scam.

I filed a report with the CRTC do not call registry about them today.  We'll see if this does anything.  I'm doubtful.

I don't know were they go my phone num .I am on the do not call list and that never stop phoning ,  these non sense phone call .I think it worse sinse I got my num on the no call list  somebody out there making money by selling these phone num to them please stop that

I pressed 0 hoping to get an operator and got a woman who said "thank you for pressing 9"
I said my first name and a boguz company name and asked if she would please remove me from her calling list.
In a loud voice she said the company name (to people sitting around her I presume) and "sure I'll remove you" and promptly hung up... :(
With the Gov't had more bite with the do-not call list!  Geesh!

every week they call . I am on the do not call list ,but I still get these diliquent dorks . What gives and when are we going to go after Physically these scabs scammer. OH and if i knew the company that was cqalling then I would deal with them my way.

Got a call just now from 1-406-219-2364 and just let it ring.  Damn another one of those ...... and am on the do not call list.

Correction to a message I left; it is not under Yak that I got charged for a call never made at Mt 406-219-2364; got charged on long distance call under my phone number.

Received my Bell statement and I am charged for a telephone number I have never used. Charged under Yak (10-15-945) accepted by Bell. Date 23rd March 2011.

Got a missed call on my CELL this morning. My cell also says the state/province calls originate from based on the number. Apparently this specific number (406-219-2364) was from Montana. I know no one from Montana, and live pretty damn far from it. Glad to know from the rest of you that it is just a credit card scam. One missed call I'm glad to have missed.

This number is in Bossman, Montana. Please call your local police force, state, Federal Trade Commission and Spam Busters to put in a complaint.

You should also call your phone company executive office and complain, they can if they wish make a record of these phone numbers and investigate.

The more complaints and pressure we put the sooner action will be taken!

If no one does anything and puts there head in the sand it will only get worse!

Just got my first call from this number (I did not answer).  The next time they call, they will just get a "disconnected" tone, with a message about not accepting telemarketing calls.

I too recived the call and was told I won a trip incl air fare from Vancouver BC to Cancun, Fort Laurderdale and a cruise.  It was for 4 people, all inclusive , and all I was to pay was $598.00 per person for 13 days .  No timeshare talks, no "extra fees" at participating destinations and no other charges would be added to my Credit card.  I would not be charged anything till I researched and agreed with the package.  But they would not allow me to go further until I divulged my card number to ensure validity of my ability to pay.  

I terminated the call, but with reservations.

I have participated with a similar vacation pack , twice, and was okay with the results.
Maybe I am getting paranoid!
Anyone out there gobbled up the offer?  What were the results??
