I got a call from them today. Its odd that I should receive such calls on a new phone number. As soon as the lady on other end said "credit card", I hung up on her.

I got the call, pressed '1' got the "boiler room" and asked for the persons name and who she represented, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!

We get these all the time.  It's to lower your credit card interest rate.  We don't have credit cards.  Get really nasty with you if you ask for a supervisor or tell them you're on the do not call list.  I've had them curse me before they hang up.

Credit card interest reduction.  Gave option to opt out from calls. Did this the other day, but they just changed numbers and called again.  Reported to do not call

Second call this week. Left message about lowering interest rate. This is your last chance....etc. It's obviously a scam.

I get these calls very goddamn week from a new number!  I have them blocked, then they call back again, new number on Caller ID, fake though.  "HI, THIS IS SARAH FROM THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY,,,,"

I ask NICELY who is calling me and they hang up right away.  Jeez, who the hell are these people?

a lot of calls from Bozeman. never left a message until today regarding lowering credit card %    by phone and only for a limited time offer to  6% I had to call right away!!   Didn't name the card!!                   scam!!!!D

Caller ID says Unknown Caller.  Recorded message from "Cardmember Services".  Pressed 1 to "get started lowering my credit interest rate".  Spoke to a person who identified himself as "George Lamond".  I asked him for a company address or website, he said "this is only a call center", and the website is:  cardmemberservices.com.  For the callback #, he said to use any number on the back of my credit card under where it says "Cardmember Services".  Like I was born yesterday!  I mentioned that all of the numbers on my credit cards were different, and repeated my request for company address, name, website, and phone number.  He got very rude and hung up on me!  Obvious credit scam....

About lowering your interest rate on credit card Called 3:10pm on May 5th with name "Out of Area", went to my voice mail. Voice mail started in the middle of a sentence from a womans voice. This "company" with the same BS voicemail has called before but under a different number. Scum of the earth annoyances!

Received call from someone in Bozeman, Montana about reducing credit card interest.
Did not respond.

Receiving calls about credit card interest changes.

They are all FAKE numbers, just for the sake of Caller ID.  They do not say who they are from, if you ask them they hang up on you.  I wish I knew who they were or where they were from so I could find them and break some legs.  How do they get away with this over and over and over???

Again & again, I receive these calls, most I don't even answer when I see a strange number. But today I decided to give them a piece of my mind, so I answered.  As usual, the recording starts wanting to reduce my credit card interest rate.  When I selected #1 option, a lady answers  saying, "so you would like to reduce your credit card interest?"  I replied, "sure."  Silents begins & I hung on for about 5 minutes, no one ever came back to me.  

It is hard to believe that  something done with these "idiots."  Look at all the prior comments on this number which shows they are sure up to some no good.  

Funny part is I don't have a credit card and don't plan on ever having one!!!!  So why call me?`

I've been getting calls from these people, too.  I keep hanging up, or deleting the voice mail when they call.  Next time, I'm going to try to get some additional company information.  This link takes you to the FCC website.  http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tcpa.html  You can review the rules about what is and is not allowed when you're on the Do Not Call list.  At the bottom of the page, there is a link to an on-line complaint form.  There's also very good information at the bottom of the page about what to include in your complaint. I think whoever this is definitely deserves to be reported to the FCC.  If we ALL do that, maybe they can shut them down.

I urge all to contact your phone people, at&t, and all others to stop these calls. I WANT TO SEE THE NAME AND NUMBER THAT IS CALLING MY PHONE. I have no secrets, and when i call other phone numbers, i do not care if my info is on their caller i.d. " STOP THE CALLS FROM THESE PEOPLE THAT BLOCK NAMES AND NUMBERS "

Thanks Sheila, WE need to  "FLOOD THE FCC WITH OUR CONCERNS ABOUT THESE CALLS ", Have been on a no call list for years, still get these people calling. What can we do ???????????????????

Since the Feds seem unable to stop these clowns, I've taken to greeting them with something really nasty, really personal and really obscene.  The last one said, "You're rude!"  And I replied, "And you're a felon.  At least I'm legally rude."  And hung up.

And for your name, give them names like Ben Dover, Pete Moss, etc.

Another good trick is to say you prefer to be reached at another number, and give them a bogus number like a toll number in the Caribbean or another scammer's (confirmed so they don't call an innocent person) number.

Received 2 harrassing calls 4-28-11 @ 5:37p.m. and 5:40 p.m from those numbers regarding a BP credit card fraud for $1700 dollars. Said that I had charged $56 in BP gas the day before.  I don't use BP gas. They said that I must be guilty and that if I didn't remit payment that I would be hearing from the Brookhaven, MS police to be picked up.

I have received calls from 406-219-8634 and 406-219-2354 identifying themselves as MasterCard Rewards.  Each time, no one has been at home, but today (26 April 2011) at 1814hrs, the call came through and immediately there was a message about qualifying for a lower interest rate.  I hung up because I didn't recognize the company or the number.  If someone is phishing for information, this is how they're going about it.  Everyone please be careful and don't share or give your information to anyone.  Ask for a valid # and tell them you'll call them back.  Hopefully with all the money we spend each month with the phone companies, they will investigate and send these crooks to jail where they belong.

Received calls and got into argument with the people from these two numbers: a) 406-219-8634 and b) 406-224-9009

Calls alot one call after the other. I block the new numbers they use to call in. I also can redirect a list of these numbers, to numbers for road and weather conditions that are a recorded message. just leave them be don't answer you know it is junk anyway from caller id info.

Love this idea, I will start looking for weird city names with strange street names.  I used to put my kids on the phone with these callers when they were little but stopped that because they WILL curse & say nasty things.  We get these calls all the time & don't have a credit card.
Last time I got the call I pretended to start crying and thanking them.  Told them my house was in foreclosure, I had $50,000 in medical bill because of a terminal illness and asked if they had the insurance that paid out in case of death or loss of job.  For some reason they hung up!!

I got home from work and had a message from this number and the message was about lowering my interest rates on my cards.  But when I called them back to tell  them that I am not interested, and to take me off of there calling list, all I got was a recording saying "THIS CALL CAN NOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED PLEASE CHECK THE NUMBER AND TRY AGAIN"  This is a bunch of #################.

They left a message on my phone  because of Caller ID, I don't answer  numbers I do not recognize.  Listening to the message afterwards, part of it was missing except they said something about "lowering my interest rates to 6%.  This was my last chance to do so.......  push 1 on your phone to do "this" or 2 to do "that....." (From this message one could tell it was a recording which I won't, or could'nt reply to in any way!!)  knowing it's contents, (SPAM) I WILL report it to the "Do Not Call list".  Besides no one can reduce interest rates on CREDIT CARDS, (as I've read on these pages),  which I don't have in the first place!!!!

This was a spam call in violation of the Do Not Call list.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL MY PHONE NUMBER AGAIN ABOUT REDUCING RATES ON CREDIT CARDS.
