Yeah, I got it too, but I was in the middle of a meeting so I just hung up. When I called back I just got a machine asking if I would like to be taken off their call list.

poppins 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I just missed a call from them, and when i tried to call back it said it can not be completed as dialed. It can't be associated with a job application because I haven't applied for any work since I got this number.
Stef 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I just pressed 1 to get off the list... dammit.
ColoradoB 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I dont know who it is as it doesnt identify, but it states if dont want calls in regards to their latest promotions, and be placed on the do not call list to press "1"
Never got a live person

This is a scam operation calling itself "Debt-Free Lifestyle Today."
The caller ID says "SERVICE MESSAGE" (it says something similar when they call from one of their other numbers, like 406-351-4364). A recording from "cardholder services" threatens that this will be the final notice (if only!); sometimes it's a man, other times a woman, always with a different name.
Press 1 to speak with a person.
(If you get disconnected, you can call these losers back at 310-568-6007 or 877-282-3707.)
No matter how many times you deal with them, you'll probably speak with somebody different, always an American-sounding name but a foreign-sounding accent. I've talked with Janie, Roger, Vivian, Jason, Henry, and Ivan, among others. If you push hard enough, you'll discover that the supervisors have last names - like Phillip Reed, Dexter Young, and Nathan Howard. (Mr. Howard claims to be the top man; he has no boss, he says.) It's kind of fun getting through to the actual managers, since most are fictional (like "Mrs. Promin") and spend their entire days in a meeting and can never come to the phone!
The first-line guys think the "company" is based in Boca Raton, FL, but the managers claim it's in Inglewood, CA. One thing is for sure: NOBODY will give you an actual mailing address.
They call 2-3 times a day, despite my being on the Do Not Call list and after numerous requests for them to cease and desist calling me. I've gotten this far in the game. How can I sue them without knowing their address? Help!

My son got a call from this number and a man's voice said don't expect to wake up in the morning and then hung up. i tried to trace it and call it back and got a machine saying something bout being taken off the do not call list. It was weird, I know the number is outta Montana but weird you can't trace who it goes back to.

Received a call today despite being on the do-not-call list. Individual stated they were a manager and would remove my number from their list. He stated their company gets numbers from credit card companies.
Rere 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
Oh by the way, I called them back and there is a recording that says that "your call can not be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again." Go figure, some scammers.
Mike 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
Received a call from them today on my cell phone that I do not give out to anyone but friends, but is also on the do not call list... they left a voice message "lower your credit card interest rates..."
jsw 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I don't answer calls from outside my area code...
I just pick up the receiver and then hang it right back up.
99.9 % of the time it is a telemarketer or a scam.
Vidhya 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I got a call yesterday from this number as well. But I when call back it says call cannot be processed as dialled.
Daniel 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown

Thomas R 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I got this call today (June 17 2010). They didn't leave a message or anything. It's annoying, though.
kahedi 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
It's an automatic promotion thing. Just call the number back and it will ask if you want to be taken off the list. I suggest you do it because if not they will continue to call. It's automated so theirs no one to chew out. :)
Kev 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I got it too. Google says it's an area code from Montana so it's probably just a telemarketer
Pain 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
It's after you apply online for a job. The job recruiter also sells your information to telemarketers. That's what is going on. You are welcome.
mandy 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
i dunno how these people could of gotten my number, ive never applied for a job or listed my number online, but they just called me, i didnt answer and they didnt leave a message.
Rere 2011-06-06 20:47:57 Unknown
I just got a call from these people today (21st July, 2010). They told me that the Federal Government has allowed for there to be a lowering of the interest rate on credit cards at 6.9%. I asked them where they were calling from and the guy gave me some muffled answer that I could not get. He also stated that they were a non-profit organization. I kept asking and he kept going around the question asking me if I did not want to lower my interest rate on my credit card. He then asked how much my balance was and when I told him it was lower than $1,000.00 he was astounded. He then ask me whether I had any personal loans. when I told him that i was debt free he was even more astounded. Then I dropped the bomb on him and told him that he cannot help me with my finances because I am not from the USA and any bills I have are in my own country. He then start asking me whether I had a good life and started to get personal. I hung the phone up. I believe that this isa scam and i also believe that they could hack into my personal info. I called my credit card company and told them about the scam going on.

Sue the phone company and the business name, state you intend to find out the offending companies information through Discovery, sue the phone number too. Trust me the telco is not willing to risk a default judgement and will cooperate fully with the Courts.
Jose 2011-02-12 00:41:41 Unknown
They rather bill you excise taxes, and USF charges to support ObamaCare. They are worthless Under White Bush they would only go after indeceny, under Black Bush(Obama) they only want to tax broadband. You have to sue them yourself, and hope you served the right person. A congressman Lamar Smith R-Texas robocalled and got sued over teletown hall meetings, FCC did squat.
Jose 2011-02-12 00:36:17 Unknown
The AGs need to do their damn job or petition the Gobment for their impeachment. Next town hall meeting DEMAND they put a stop to it, If we can send troops overseas and spend millions of dollars damn it we can shut these bozos down. Don't take no for an answer.

Just missed a call from this number on my work cell. I called back twice the first time the line was busy, when I called back a second time I received a recorded message about lowering my credit card interest rates. Did not listen to the entire thing just hung up! So annoying!!!
cell call 2010-07-01 16:28:30 Unknown
Same here, 406-224-9208 called my cell phone, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Says it came from "no name" in Montana. This number is unlisted and not on the internet any where, or any where else either because I pay for minutes, it's not like a regular cell phone. So it's definitely computer generated, they have no idea who they are reaching, they're cold calling. I don't answer unknown numbers, especially when I only have .94 cents time left on the phone LOL....
Javanna Porter 2010-06-30 23:04:11 Telemarketer
They are calling me non stop from a cell phone number about lowering my credit cards . I have asked them to stop calling 10 times and nothing . I am even on the DNC list and it doesnt help they ignore me .
