"Clifford Hanes" requested a quote for a small quantity of material, which came out to only about $660. He then came back and said his budget was for $5,500 and wanted a quote for that (going from less than 1 pallet of material up to 8 pallets) and told me to contact a freight company called Transpanol Shipping Company. I googled the company name and all of these warnings popped up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I emailed him back informing him that I had done a little digging and know that he is a scammer and a fraud and that we wouldn't be doing business with them.

I would like a quote to get 6 bundles picked up from Upper Ferntree Gully Victoria 3156 & shipped to 32 Eastern Main Road San Juan of Trinidad & Tobago. The measurements of 5 bundles @ 2150mm x 900mm and weighing 15kilograms per bundle. 1 bundle weighing approx 20kilograms.

This Bill Gibson just did this to us! We are a small granite counter top company and he wanted us to ship counters to Trinidad Tobago! I told him we do not except credit cards!

All, my company rec'd an email request for heavyweight products.  The inquiry was suspicious from day-one.  The first suspicion was his name, Smith Jackson and the email (goodmail441@yahoo.com).  The quantity and variety of his request was the second suspicious thing.  The 'cryptic' emails were the third and finally the Globe Freight Shipping confirmed to me this is a scam.

Just had this done to me via an enquiry on my website for a large quantity of product to be sent to Trinidad.  

Smith said he was donating it to a charity centre called Day care Charity center in Trinidad.  

Then he wanted me to pay the shipping - using 'Globe Freight Shipping Agency'.  

He came back to me 3 times via email asking me to add the cost of the shipping quote to the cost of the product, despite my polite requests for him to pay for shipping costs directly to the freight forwarding company.  

I received a phone call from Smith and decided to look up fraud and the Globe Freight Shipping Agency.  Thank you so much for all your posts.  I hope this helps others too.
