My mom also bought a toshiba TV and has nothing but grief from the co pany to do some thing about it. It stopped working after one week and the store Pamida at the time said we had to talk to Toshiba and of course we got no where with them. So we called back to the store only for them to tell us that, pretty much wasn't there problem. So if any one has a working number for the worthless Toshiba company that can help please post...

Best Buys ~ Samsung 55" 3D TV (purchased 3/13/11) and can't get parts, with the extended warranty got a new Samsung 3D (same size). Original TV cost me $2,690 and they wanted to replace it with lower cost TV but finally got the latest Samsung (same size) with all the bells & whistles, but I did have to pay for a new extended warranty for this TV. Glad I had purchased the extended warrenty or I would be paying more out of pocket!

NEW a company that handles warranty service for many retailers. I had an extended warranty for an HP computer bought at Walmart. The first call was excellent but their folllow up is horrible. It took them THREE weeks to schedule a service tech. Initial contact was good - they sent the parts right away. After two weeks I installed them myself. Whe they finally called back with a repair scheduled (as I said after 3 weeks) they got upset that I had tired of waiting for them and fixed it on my own.
Was advised that since I did the repair the warranty was now voided and Walmart offered to refund the price I paid for the warranty work that did not receive,

FWIW- don't know all the services these guys provide.
However, in my recent experience, this is a legitimate number/ company that provides 3rd party extended warranty services for Visa credit card purchases.

I got a legitimate call from this number representing Lowes about the warranty repair of a water heater. I guess it is some general service outfit since I see that several different companies are noted.

it was an warranty shop. well my xbox went out a couple days ago and i was told to send it in, well my game was stuck in it and i couldnt turn it on to get it out. so i sent it off and put a note in the box about my game like i was told by one of the people i talked to and long story short they cant fix my xbox and they said i will have to buy another game because they will not send it back because it is their property now!!!! wow if i would have knew that i could of had a dude in the hood fix it for 40 bucks and a pack of squares..

Just got a call/message from this number. It was regarding a complaint on a tv warranty. Toshiba would not acknowledge the warranty until we had the tv for a full year (it's been 10.5 months). Protection plan from store (Shopko) says they'll repair/replace with NO HASSLE and no product registration required. Sure! Called store, said we'd have to call manufacturer. Called manufacturer, they said product isn't registered so they can't help. We'd have to fax over all our info, then wait 72 hours, then hear that they won't do anything for another 45 days when we've owned the tv for a year. Load of garbage! There, I'm done venting!

Sorry about any BS any of you went through with reps from NEW. I work for DTV as a Tier 3 Technical Agent/Case Manager, and I've been having issues with the service provided to my customers by NEW from the minute I started in regular Technical support. They're not too good at troubleshooting, they're often rude and have no regard for customer service. Of course there are exceptions, but I've cleaned up NEW rep's messes way too many times.

I have never heard of a technician doing a WARRANTY service repair accepting money from the End User, a dishonest technician may be trying to fool you. I would contact a PM at N.E.W and discuss, you are not to every pay for a warranty service that was guaranteed by contract.

It's a warranty company for Best Buy. Made a claim on a dishwasher. A bit slow, but so totally
worth it. Now, if it was my frig or freezer I'd be going ballistic!! Really nice people
