I didn't recognize the number so I sent it to voicemail: "Free grant to grow your business...  Press 1 to speak with someone, press two if you were reached in  error" or something to that effect.  As suggested above, filed complaint with FCC - http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?id=d1e37

I was looking over the posts and they are all from 2010.  I just got a call on my phone today so looks like they may be starting all over again.

ID says "Sales Department" For ref. I did not try to refinance or get better interest rates and got rid of my credit cards years ago.

Report it to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?id=d1e37. If they get enough complaints, they'll do something about it. I've started reporting all solicitation calls.

they call alot. grant money for small businesses. I talked to someone today and the guy wouldn't stop  talking. told him take our number off list, we are on do not call list and we do not want grant money. would interrupt and continue trying to talkme into it.  went on donotcall.gov and filed complaint.

Robo call from "Rachel" from phone number 406-426-3277. Phone IDs shows "Montana". Rachel states this is my final notice for my chance to lower my interst rates. Unfortunately I've been getting these calls at least twice for the last year plus. FTC & FCC reporting have produced no results.

Caller ID for this number read Montana.  After I said hello a woman's voice said "you called card reader  services and".... I interrupted saying that I had not called and not to call my number again, she continued to talk and was still talking as I hung up.

They called and lef a message, I only got the tail end, but it was my final notice on refinancing. WHta they did not indicate

these phone calls come almost any time of the day or evening.  never identify who they are.  always recorded - no live person.  have reported it to the ftc - but that doesn't do anything.  this is frustrating!

A number being registered on the DNC list only tells honest companies that you don't want to receive solicitation calls. Registration does not prevent a call from coming to you or you couldn't get calls from friends, family, etc. The dishonest telemarketers, many of which are calling from outside the U.S., don't care about whether your number is registered since they don't have to obey U.S. laws anyway.

The FTC doesn't have the authority to take any enforcement action against a company that's not in the U.S. The bottom line is that the DNC list may stop calls from honest companies but can't do much with the companies that don't obey the law or use phony numbers to avoid getting caught.

Called 11-2-2010 @ 11:14, answered call.  Message about lowering credit card interest rate, suspect a scam.

No it does not I am on the no call list and I still get calls.

Yes, I too have received calls from this number, it is alleged fraud, they claim your on a preferred marketing list, but when you ask them how you got on that list, they either hand up or they tell you an alleged lie.

Report this phone number to the FTC and or other law enforcement agencies

Keeps calling my 9 year old sons cell phone! We gave him a phone to be safe but these asshats keep calling during the school day and getting him in trouble

called stated they were from Experian credit bureau wanting to qualify us to lower our credit card interest rates.
When I asked for more information about the offer, and mentioned identity theft and credit card phishing, the gentleman I was talking to, Josh,became angry and said "Don't you read your contract with your credit card?.  At this time, I hung up and called Experian and reported this number.
Experian told me "We do not call you or give out your number.  You have to contact us."

Caller ID says "Service Update" but it is just some nonsense about lowering my credit card interest rate.  Roaches.

Even better, go to the Do Not Call Registry and click on "File a Complaint".

A robocall in spanish, they are offering loans for small biz.
