getting calls 6 to 10 times a day from a 00000# some raghead saying i have won a $100 walmart card,i have asked them to not call,they get very rude and start cursing,then hang up,this is getting rather annoying what can i do about it....i live in missouri...and i am the do not call list

Someone keeps calling for Andrew B and no one by that name has ever lived here.  He says it is for a Student loan.  How do I block the number?

OMG!  They just called me from yet another phone number, 503-457-1034.  I will add this number to my complaint for what little it will do.  I have blocked them on my cell.  GRRRRRR

Call roughly 5 times a day and ask for jamie something or other when I tell them I am not Jamie they ask for my nam never gave real name not stupid anyways they always say that they will put me on a do not call list also people definitely not from the states

My resi is receiving multiple calls per day from (406)478-2356, despite being on the "Do NOT Call List" for years.  I called the phone company to inquire what they knew of the matter, and was immediately directed to the Attorney General, Public Protection Unit.  The Representative who assisted me verified this is VERY MUCH a scam!!!  BIG TIME.  The caller is NOT physically located within the U.S. despite this showing within our Country on caller-id info.  She verified the caller is attempting to lure folks into accepting "free" diabetic item...BUT then charges Medicare AND your Insurance as well for around $700.00 (U.S. $).  They apparently DO send the device, but NOT free as is told to the consumer.  Attorney General Office Representative said DO NOT ANSWER THE CALLS!  She said to contact your local phone company, asking for the ph# to be blocked.  She also stated they keep changing the ph# so will have to continue to call ph co to block any additional ph#s they might use in the future.  Foreign SCAM artists!!!

Keep get calls from this number three and four times a day.  This harassment, it needs to stop.

They called about 4 times  a day. When I answer they hung up.They just call again. Somebody did answer this time. I hung up on them. My Caller Id said they are RESET. What ever that is.

me too. those are called "abandoned calls". there are specific laws regarding the use of "autodialer" and
"predictive dialing" technology.
I am on the do not call list but am still getting calls, so I started filing complaints for every call.

After 8-10 calls per day (yes the asian lady named "Laura Summer") I have finally started looking for legal action I can take. I found a wealth of information on both of these websites- very specific info regarding the laws, fines, definitions, etc.

good luck- please post any results you get. the other company from this # is Unverse MD and RX Arena. The lady said it was a call center and she had various assignments for different companies-- I guess the diabetes thing is their other business.

I have been on the do not call registry for a while now and am still getting 8-10 calls per day. Nobody at this company (universe md or rx arena) is checking the list. I have started filing complaints on the donotcall website- only been a few days, so we'll see. there is a list of questions you can ask which they are required to answer. They also list the auto-dialer regulations and the fines for the different violations. These companies can actually be sued in small claims court. Obviously it would take time, but from my experience with this # and the people I have spoke to, it would be easy to prove my case.
Another suggestion I heard is to keep them on the phone as long as possible. At least you can prevent them from making any sales for a while. Today I kept "Laura Summer" on the phone for 40 minutes. asking the same questions over and over (not the ones on the above website- just like what medication? what is that for? how do you spell it? can i take that with tylenol? although I used up my minutes, it really felt good.

This company called me with pretext of asking about Diabetes, which they evidenlty found out about by hacking Walsgreens drug site.  Per other uses they are pushing prescription drugs like Soma.

Don't call them back.  They are pushing prescription drugs by phone.

I've gotten calls from this place before (with a slightly different tel #). Shows up as Sidney, MT. I have picked up in the past and asked to be removed. They said they would remove me. Apparently not. Lies.

They called again because I did not block them correctly.  Grrr.  I have filed another complaint and have successfully added them to my "block" list.  I hope it works!

This "reset" is an on-line pharmacy that is selling prescription drugs without a prescription.  Illegal!

They somhow got my cell number.  Keep asking for someone what a different first name.

started getting calls from 406-478-2356 about 2 weeks ago.  At first it was 1 or 2 calls over a couple of days.  Apparently thye now have my house number setup on some automated dialing system.  I have been getting them every 2 hours as of 9 am this morning.  Claiming that someone at this number answered an on-line questionaire indicating that someone at this number is a diabetic.  As I am typing the phone is ringing with --- Unknown number - 000-000-0000.  Pretty sure it's the same people.  

Can I set to silent ring if I don't have VOIP?

This phone number has called our house 8 times in the last 3 days.  3 of the calls being today.  I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling our house and they always say "sorry, thank you"  I will definitely be reporting them to dontcall.gov

Same situation as everyone else.  Constant calls, no messages, when Ive tried to answer there is nobody on the other line.

My guess is that this is a computer dialer programmed to rapid call people via an internet phone.  The Sidney, MT location is likely where the internet phone is located.  My reasoning is that internet calls like magic jack or others are free to call people in the U.S and Canada.  Therefore they can set their computer dialer to rapid spam people with calls many times per day without any per call cost.  The dialer or dialers that they are using are probably affiliated with different databases that this person or company purchases in order to either:

a) scam people using the information stored in the databases to make false promises
or
b) route those calls directly to 3rd party companies that pay them to gain potential customers


For me, these calls began after I had applied to get information from various online colleges about degrees and financing.  I have no doubt that the information I entered into these websites was either bought or stolen by this entity.

As far as a solution goes my suggestions are that you can block the number for an additional charge by your phone provider, or you can change the ringtone of the number to silent (if they are calling your cell phone) so that it doesnt bother you when they call.  To get the number shut down permanantly is likely impossible -- the owner of the number has our information, if they are forced to shut down the number, they will just apply for a new one under a different name and begin again with our stored information.  The person(s) who own this number are likely not even in the country -- (my guess some asian country), and connect to the Sidney, MT computer via internet.

Maybe there is some other legal solution I am not seeing here.  Try calling the FCC or MT state attorney generals office http://www.doj.mt.gov/resources/attorneygeneral.asp

I received a call on 9/10/11 from this company and asked that they put me on their do not call list.  They called at 8:39 and 11:03 am EST on 9/12/11.  I have reported them to the National Do Not Call registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/  I have also blocked the number on my phone.  I shouldn't receive anymore bothersome calls from them.

Calls from Felicity and Sarah over last 3 days.  I have been receiving calls for 2 months from different people.

Answered when this number called. They ask for my wife by name. I said, "Who's calling?". They ask if someone in the house had diabetes. I refused to give any information.  Ask to be off their list. He argued with me. I said I would report them. He did not care. This number has called several times before and since. I usually just answer and hang up. Click, click.

They have been calling at least twice a day for the past week. We never use this phone and when it's an unrecognized number, we don't pick up. So they just keep calling...

They have been calling my house . It starts out that they are an operator calling for the hearing impared, and that they will type and relay the message to the other party. (I had an ad on the net for something)  They asked me some questions and then sent me an email to buy.  My son said it sounded like a scam so I didn't return the email.  Now I am getting calls all the time there are several numbers starting with 406.  Then I started getting calls from someone asking if I had diabetes or if someone in my house did.  Three different people called to ask if I had diabetes.

Received a call from 406-478-2356 on Sep 10.  A women with a foreign accent stated "It says here that you are a diabetic."  I told them her that she had the wrong phone number and hung up.

Stop calling--I don't want your scripts!!
