spoke to a guy by the name of Don. Said he could lower my credit card interest rate. I ask him what credit cards did he carry, give me ur number and i'll give u a lower rate, i then asked how he got my # he then told be that he got my # off of a gay bathroom wall for homosexuals, Then i ask him if he had problem gays, he said no, then i ask to speak to his supervisor, this guy quote my the Eric said if i had a problem with Don, he would come here and kick my a**. before i could say anything else, he hung up. But of course you can not call this # back

I received the same thing as all the other statements.  I just hung up.  Then tried to call back a few minutes later to "unload" on this jerk named Adam.  The number comes up as no longer in use.  Real cowrdly business practice Maxximus Group,   you should move your business overseas also, you would fit right in.

I have no business with this company offering to lower my interest rates on credit cards! Please stop the calls! Thanks.

I am getting multiple calls daily from this number regarding interest rates.  They have been calling for several days.  How do I stop the calls?  They will not leave a message; however, I picked it up finally to tell them to take me off their call list .  It is a recorded message.

won't take number off and put on do not call list says a law office.   oh please my number is real new and no one has it.  how dare they pay for numbers and bug people!!!

Same thing except it was my personal cell phone. They said that they are "card services" or something along those lines and that they were calling in regards to my high outstanding balances on credit cards - particularly a new vehicle that was purchased on a credit card and which I never made payments on. Hmmmm. The bottom line was that they were trying to setup card payments of some kind. Anyway - sounds like a phishing scam. I was arguing with the guy back and forth about whether or not I have a new car paid with a credit card then he just hung up the phone - very creepy. I want to cut their thumbs off. Is that wrong?

This call is coming through on my job and I don't want these people call me at all.  They said they can offer me a lower rate on all my credit cards.  I guess I would have to take a credit card out with them.  I have no credit cards and don't want these calls.  How do I go about getting these people not to call me on any phone?

The same thing happened to me except of course they were calling my personal cell phone! I had received maybe 5 calls from them throughout the past month so I eventually forwarded myself to a live operator and I was like, "uhh, yeah, I keep getting called from this number about lowering interest. I don't have credit cards or anything and I'd like to stop receiving calls." and the dude's like, "so, sir, are you interested in lowering your interest rates?" and I'm like, "no, I'm not." and then he just hung up. I originally thought of the number as shady... now I put them on the level with criminals. Quite bothersome = \

I work in a call center.  This number popped up on an incoming call.  I listened to the message which advised they had tried to contact (me) on numerous occaisions about my interest rate.  The system said to hit 1 to talk to a rep or 2 to decline.  I pushed 1 to let the company know that they were calling a business.  A young sounding lady answered.  I advised this was a business.  She hung up on me.  No explanation.  No apology.  No advice that they will take the number off their system.  Just a hang up.  Real nice Maxximus Group.  Real class.  Here is back at you 'CLICK - errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'

I had the same call from Adam. I do not have any credit cards, so I also just hung up.

Received a call on my work phone, Adam from card services telling me that they have tried numerous times to contact me (they haven't) about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. SInce I only have 1 credit card and I know who it is and who usually calls in regard to it i just hung up.
