A caller by name of Michael left a voice message on my cell phone. He did mention something about real estate but I am not a realtor nor is my house listed on the market.  Do not know who they are.

So, here's a kicker. I did sign up for referrals from Real Estate Client Referrals - www.recr.com or www.realestateclientreferrals.com - and then I received a voice message from Mike Peterson trying to sell his program to me. I don't want the program . . . I want the promised referral!

I did not recognized the area code, but that does not always mean anything in the real estate business.  Caller identified himself but I did not write name down. Said that he was looking to refer a client to Hammond, IN and was calling me to work with him as an agent.  I told him I lived a couple of hours from Hammond and would not be interested.  Then he asked if I had any agents in that area.  I told him no, that perhaps he should check up around the Chicago area, he thanked me and hung up.

I asked where they were getting my phone number from.  The guy said from Point2Homes, which is who I have my real estate web site hosted with.  Thanks Point2 for sharing to solicitors my name and business phone number.  It does no good to be registered with the Do Not Call Registry.  

I've asked them to take me off their call list, that what they were selling is bogus and I do not wish for them to call me anymore.  I've asked numerous times with no luck!  The guy told me that I'm not on a list per say, they just get my name and the name & numbers to all agents who have a site with Point2Homes.

I guess this is the price we pay to advertise.  I pay for these idiots to harass me!

Get calls from this area code on my cell phone.Fortunately- I don't answer when I don't recognize the name or number. After reading this site I am glad! I have no idea who they are but I am on the no call list for cell phones and land lines. If I find out who they are I will report them.
