I received a call from this number this morning. Who are they?

We received a call from Richard Shirkey as well stating he had a buyer coming to our area.  Was bored and sounded as if he had said the same thing over and over.

I received an abrupt phone message with the same name and number as all the other postings. I could hear some voices in the background that made me think it was a call centre and the whole message just seemed odd. I will not be returning the call.

Richard Shirkey called from some call center in Montana saying he had
referral for South Lake Tahoe.  While it is in the same county, it is
like night and day to area I service - and has it's own MLS.

I had a voicemail from Rich or Richard Shirkey this morning. He stated he had a client moving into the "Desoto Area" and asked if I wanted a referral. It sounded fishy and I see now that it is. I will NOT be returning his call.

I just received a message from this same "Richard person". The message was he had a customer moving to the Augusta area and he wanted me to return his call.  I too heard someone else in the background as if it were a call center or something similar. He wanted me to return his call at 406-532-3728

This guy named Richard Shirkey (Jerkey I thought) also called my business voicemail this morning stating that he has a client moving here to SC. His voice did sound rough like he was out of breathe and I agree that he also sounded bored.  He was definitely doing this job out of duty not delight.  Why can't he just be honest and leave a message that tells the truth.  Honesty goes a long way verses deception.

I received a call from Richard Shirkey from Real Estate Referrals, and he stated he had a customer wanting to purchase in Cecil County, MD. We also have a relocation dept. within our company, and these are referral companies that scam Real Estate Agents.

Same as above. This Richard Shirkey person, obviously reading from a script. Said he had a referral for me - someone looking to purchase a home in the area. I could hear another person in the background, as he was reading from his script, who was saying the same things as he was - verbatum.

This is a Referral Scam company out of Missoula Montana that claims to guarantee every referral but charges an up front $99.00 per referral.

Called my business voicemail this morning stating that he has a client moving here to the Hampden area, then corrected himself to say Hampden County. He said his name was Richard Shirkey. NO other details except his number. Voice was harsh and sounded bored.
All of our referals go through our Relocation company or our Office Manager, so calls like this are suspicious.
