I got a text message from this #8877 saying:Dear Credit Union customer, we regret to inform you that we had to lock your bank account access. Call (406) 630-4023 to restore youre bank account. I don't know what this is but I'm pretty certain it's a scam to get your banking info

My Girlfriend got the same text from this number...when we called they want you to reactivate your account. They didn't give a name or anything just a generic "credit union bank".  If you go through their process they ask you (in a freaky computer voice) for your credit card number, security code, and pin number.  Once you put all this in (I put in fake) they hang up on you.  Don't give them any information!!!!!!! Scammmmmm!!!!!!

I got the same message. My credit union isnt even in the same time zone as the 406 area code.

I received a text message fro these criminals saying I was to call this number to restore access to my C-union account. Obviously, anyone in their right mind knows better than to fall for such a scam.

Just got the same text mssg. as above about my credit union. What a scam. Hopefully nobody falls for this.

I don't even have a credit union and they texted me!  Annoying!

Yeah, I got the same message. I replied with a few choice words, but the message could not be sent since it, apparently, was sent through Skype.

Yep i just got the exact same text message....i sure hope no one falls for it, it did make me pause for a minute at first though...

I got the same Text Message yesterday, my mom called the number just to see what it said and hung up...everything about it screams SCAM!  I was going to call my credit union to see what was going on, but now that I know it's a scam, I'll just steer clear of the number.  Glad I didn't fall for it!!!  How did they get the numbers???

The number has been disconnected.
