Yup - - robo dialer that is offering "help" with mortgage renegotiating services.

Just press the number to "speak" with an attendant.

IF you get thru ( you  won't) talk really nicely to them . . . . lull them into thinking you are a LIVE buyer - --  and at some point - get their name and phone number - -- - AND THEN POST IT HERE so we can ALL start harassing them back.

BUT -

when you DON'T get thru - - -just leave a nice long recording - - - say anything - stay professional - - -but, soemone, somewhere has to "screen" these messages - - - so, if we ALL leave a message - - -we're goign to help waste someone's time  - - -- just returning the favor of their original call !!!!

This number calls with no name. It comes up as out of area.

They are trying to offer mortgage services.
I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and have an unlisted number.

I have reported them using others numbers they have called from.

I also leave them a nasty message about calling me and I have reported them.

ive gotten the same calls from dis number but im 15 idk watt a dnc is so im not one of dem. just the weird thing is tht wen i answer like everyone else n say hello no one response back which is soo irritating its every 5 minutes of everyday they call. already i cussed them out n still they call back. i wish theirs was a way for this number to stop calling.

OMG! We have gotten about 20 calls so far today!  I do not know what the hell to do!  They have filled up my caller block log and keep changing numbers!!!  I am beyond pissed off!

Since the start of the posts  concerning 406-640-8788 on 03/07/2011 through today, it seems that everybody being harassed by those impostors are on the DNC list from which those thieves are probably getting our phone numbers in the first place.
Anyone who got a call from them not on the DNC list ???
If so, would greatly appreciate your replies ! I am curious to know !

Robo-dialed call in Spanish.  On the DNC list like others here.

I get calls from this number and 406-224-9172 all the time.  They are a nuisance, and there doesn't appear to be any way to make them stop.  Thank heaven for caller ID.

I am also on the DNC list and it protects me from most annoying calls.Unfortunately those thieves get a copy of the DNC list and then call all the numbers on it with impunity since they cannot catch them.Sadly it's the price to pay for being on the DNC list.You can always have your name removed from the list but then you'll get tons of unsolicited calls.

Received  call from this number. Caller ID registers West Yellows, MT. Good luck to this people. That is why I have a caller ID and answering machine. If those are not enough, my TV screen will flash any number who calls me, and COX has a call log that will record all incoming calls.

These are the mortgage refi idiots that keep calling and pass bogus and various caller ID's and calling numbers.  none of which are legit. . . . so, whatever phone number you SEE - has nothing to do with where they are really calling from. . . .

If you want to fight back and have the time - here's the only strategy I've come up with -

Press the menu option to "speak with an agent" - - - - In all the times I've done this, I only got thru to someone once (probably by accident) - - - if you get the voicemail - - leave a recording, which then has to be screened by someone . .. the more recordings we leave - the more ineffective this process becomes. . . .

IF YOU DO get thru to someone - - - act real interested - DONT GIVE ANY INFO - - - but, placate them and at some point, try to get details of who they are. . . . and post it HERE so we can all start to return the favor !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so upset with these people! They keep calling on my pre-paid cell phone so it costs me if I answer it. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but apparently they ignore it. I'm going to report them!

i was sick today these people called all day....i have family in this area code thought that something happened in the family...not! glad i got out of bed to answer the fone.....i am onthe DNC list......

Sick to death of receiving calls from this caller.  Yes, Do not Call list is not working Caller ID is " West Yellows MT".  How the heck does one stop annoying calls, unsolicited.

I have reported these calls to the FTC numerous times. I even called them .they told me they are hard to find. Wow, they can make millions of phone calls and the FTC cannot find them? That is why these people continue to make these calls as the FTC is worthless.

Usual Robo-Dialer debt reduction scam. These people are the scum of the earth.
