Received call from this number. Caller stated she was calling on behalf of the Breast Cancer Support. Started into her canned speech..."we're an organization that grants wishes..." Caller stopped suddenly, laughed nervously & then restarted..."I'm sorry, we support breast cancer patients..." Had I not already marked the call as a scam before I picked up, the fact that the caller couldn't keep the scam organization straight sure would have been a dead giveaway. Guess that's why she didn't object & try to talk over me & convince me to donate when I said I wasn't interested.

Whoever comes up with a device that lets you know if a call was started by a human vs a computer (and ignores the computer-generated ones) will be the next Bill Gates!

Called me about 1:15 CST on March 28th, 2013.I answered the phone and was greeted by a gravely voiced old crone that got my name wrong. When I asked who she was trying to reach, she said "Don't you know your own name?" I asked who she was calling FOR and she said American Cancer Society. I asked her if she really thought that her attitude was going to get any donations and hung up. I really wish someone would come up with a technology to effectively block these calls.

called for breast cancer donation, asked how much of the $$ gets donated and only 10%, 90%stays with the organization for expenses. didnt think that was legal to keep 90%

I answered, they asked for me by my first name. Said that it was a charity i donated too a few years back. Problem is... single mom, poverty level. I dont have the money to donate. Time...yes, money... no. Also, when they said the year I donated, I didn't have this phone number or this address yet.
