Received call from this number.  Something about credit & then a man's voice with such an accent I couldn't understand him.  I told him I couldn't understand him, got silence & hung up.  Who are all these people calling & how do they get our numbers ??

Said it was some credit company.

Received a call from this number, a forgien person asked me how I was ans when I ask her how she got me telephone number she hung-up.  I have the national Do notcall list and I get this call.

Someone from this number called and didn't say anything when I answered.  These calls are so rude!

I just received a call, no response when I said "hello", (4x!). I called back & received a busy signal.  I am so sick of these people; whoever the hell they are.  Going to report the number on the do not call website.

Received call from 406-852-8001--caller ID displayed "International". Since I did not recongnize the caller name or number, I did not answer the call--caller did not leave voice mail.

Tery said she was from Financial Consulting Services.  Connection was bad, so she said she'd call back in 10 min.  Completely different # came up (850-387-0474, "unknown number")  Called it back and it recording said "the number you have dialed is not in service".  I asked Tery for contact info and hours so I could do research and call back if I find out its not a scam.  She gave me her number (which doesn't work) 888-555-2126 xt 244, hours of operation are every day except Sunday 9a-9p.  Tery said I could lower my interest rate on just about any card from Chase, Citi and others.  She asked me for the expiration date before even asking what card it was (company, card #).  (i didn't give any card info) I asked why.  She said she wanted to make sure I didn't cut up the card?????? She said, "don't worry, I won't ask for your security code" & "you're protected by __________"  Seems pretty fishy.  Pretty sure I won't even bother to do further research.

Got a call from this number - automated then pressed "2" and a man with an accent said he could lower my credit card interest rate to 6%.  I asked which cards he was talking about and he said Visa and Mastercard and Chase and Wells Fargo and Citibank.  I asked him who he worked for and he said Visa and Mastercard.  I said that didn't make sense and asked for his name and a number I could call him back on - he was belligerent and said why did I need to do that.  I said he shouldn't have a problem that I wanted to check out his company before I talked about a credit card.  He was rude and said it was wasting time and I shouldn't need to call back.   He hung up on me.
The connection was terrible.  I'm guessing he was in another country.

Hung up during answering machine pickup.  3 or 4 calls from this number over the last couple of weeks

If I don't recognize a #, I don't answer. I got a call from this # and the caller ID said "Cellular Call" Thanks to all for the info

Comes up out of area on caller id. Received calls from this number.  Left no messages and/or hung up.  Had enough. Going to report to authorities.  Am on Do Not Call Registry.

These homewreckers have called several times and I don't use my home phone # for anything or anyone!  EVER

These types of calls will continue, especially with economy in the pooper.  If you do not know the number--DON'T ANSWER!  Best advice ever--believe me on this one! ~~> Some calls are from the Middle East & Asia, they ask you to press pound or a number then pound, it gives them access-via your permission-to charge your phone bill, so beware.  When you get your bill you notice the excessive charges--ranging from a few dollars to hundreds!  

Some of the calls come from Canada because they do not have to abide by the same "do not call list" as do US telemarketers.

If your number may already be on a do not call list, then go to this wwebsite, it is the FCC--US GOV where you can make a complaint.  You may have to cut and paste this into your web browser as they may not allow links on here.

I got a call from this  number, was offered to lower my Visa- Mastercard  interest rates because their records indicated that I make my payments on time. I asked for number to call back, was given # 1-888-559-2126, Googled it,  and got a link which clear states : IT'S A SCAM !!!This is becoming more common. This is a SCAM.

a new bottomfeeder has appeared, and as alwayss i block them. this takes time , but it is more than you will get from any government agency. it is also fun to screw with them, example when they call go to prankdial .com and send them a message, it's free for three callls a day, and at least you get some sort of satifaction. i learned this from another victim of these calls, he also calls them back every hor via his fax,but that one i haven't figured out yet. anyway use yor imagination, and keep the faith....

I got the same beligerant man.  He told me I didn't deserve their services when I asked for his name, name of company and a number I could call back.

I just received a pre-recorded message from "Heather" from 406-852-8001, but I hung up immediately and filed a complaint with the FCC via: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

No ID, no message, just a hang up.     This is the 3rd call in a few days.  Caller ID said unknown name.

I did not answer this call as I didn't recognize the number on my Caller ID.  By the look of all the comments, I'm glad I didn't.

reported them on the FCC website since I'm on the DNC list.

Received a call from 406-852-8001, answered phone but no one responsed to my repeated "hellos" so I hung up.  My caller ID said International.
