My carrier is Boostmobile on Nextel network.  I received a txt msg like these about a BofA card being locked; call (713) 955-0139.  No biggie, although i got two messages within an hour. I don't bank at BofA, so i ignored it but i was curious. It's not just Verizon, because Boostmobile is on Nextel's network.

SCAM - "[Unverified-Sender] (9175683347) B@nkofAmeric@ XNUE alert 893815.Please call (406)-924-4635"

It's a random Area Code & # routine, does not mean any numbers were sold or compromised by either Verizon or Bank of America.. BUT it is a SCAM.

Reported this to Verizon & Bank of America Fraud Departments !!

BANK OF AMERICA AND VERIZON CUSTOMER...I checked the mentioned number above and it came back to India?! Anyways, SCAMMERS!!! wonder if Verizon is the reason Bank of America issued a new card to me under the premises that my information had been compromised with an anonymous company???

Yep, Bank of America customer and Verizon...Wow, wonder if this is why Bank of America sent me a new card recently saying an anonymous company had a security breach so they had to reissue a new card with a different account number. My account was fine, but I didn't know who the "anonymous" company was...

Whatever you do - dont call these jack*** hackers.  I reported them to the FBI of Texas.  They center your info by many sources then shred your finances.  I am going to beat the s*** out of these punks if I ever catch them in person.

They never got me but many elderly are destroyed by these punks.

I am also a Verizon user in Houston. Thanks Verizon Houston for your pathetic security measures.  We should class action this division for one of their managers selling our info.
