Never bothers to leave a message. Just repeatedly calling. Even on Sunday ? I certainly don't know a  single body in Big Timber, MT so I don't bother to answer !

Call at 1:25 PM/no message/no caller ID

same here... just the number and credit services.  i am so tired of all these calls so i let my voice mail fill up so no one can leave a msg, then check caller id daily.  most of them are just calls like this.  you would think that after repeatedly not getting my vm they'd give up.

Call 3/8 at 1:42 pm, again. No caller ID. Out-of-area. Unsuccessful search. Just another interruption.

Yes...received call at 2:07pm...shows that it's from Big Timber, MT...and Heather tells me that this is "credit services"...and that's the key.

THEY ARE BIG TIME SCAMMERS. DON'T TALK TO THEM. DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. AND, IF YOU ARE ON 'DO NOT CALL' LIST, REPORT THEM TO THE FEDS. If they get enough complaints they will go after them.

And, I suspect that the phone number is a fake...all sorts of ways that they can show up on caller ID.

I received a call from this #.  They wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate to 6% on all of my high balance cards.  My Banks believed it to be a fraud.

Caller ID shows "Credit Service". Have gotten several from them in the past and always have hung up. This time, I listened to "heather"s complete message and dialed 1 to talk to a live agent. This guy was quite pushyt when I asked politely to be taken off their call list. Kept telling me he wanted to lower my credit card interest, but couldn't tell me which one - just Master Card and Visa. I asked several times which one - kept saying the same thing. Asked thru which bank was my credit card issued - he rattled off every financial institution having cards - Bank America, Chase, Capital One, etc. Told him again I wasn't interested, take me off the list - I'm on both state and federal do not call lists. He kept getting nastier by the moment, wouldn't listen to me at all, kept raising his voice in an attempt to drown me out. Asked for his name so I could report him to my state - wouldn't give it - no surprise there!

Caller id said Credit Services.  I am on the do not call list.  Why are we getting these calls?

I work for a bankruptcy law firm in Florida and we received one of these calls today from 406-931-3244. Well because of our line of work I thought it was a collection call for one of our clients. But when William Oake told me he worked with visa and mastercard and that they could lower my interest rates to as low as 6.9% I knew he didn't work for visa or mastercard. I decided to play along to see how far he would take it. Well the call made it another 30 seconds or so, when I asked for the name of the company he worked for and his managers name and the address of the business he couldn't provide that information. When I told him where he had a bankruptcy law firm he said I was a f+++king idiot and hung up the phone. I'm going to find out where this company is and file a complaint with the FTC, and that State Attorney.

Got a call today!!!   nobody answered, i believe it is a scam. I have never had one of these calls before, I dont even own a credit card.  I have never even applied for one, im too scared to apply with all the crap thats happening with credit these days.

Call came on a Saturday 4:30 PM from "Credit Services" according to caller ID.  Oh Please...!
And of course no message left.

Just save yourself trouble and never answer a number you don't recognize.
Then put your mind at ease by looking it up here.  Glad I did!

Regarding 406-931-3244: If you call the number back it has a msg that says "Thank you for calling back... if you do not want to receive future calls from our PREFERED Marketing List, please press 1...   I just hung up. It is weird. Mine is from Big Timber, MT, too.

Perhaps if I'd hit the number 1, it actually "Allows" them to charge you some fee for something, rather than, as the vm says, to discontinue receiving calls. A message can say anything...

SCAM......Credit Services wanting credit card info from me....this is a SCAM...beware.....this was an illegal call since I am on the DO NOT CALL list.

They rang me at 9:36 am local time. Answering machine picked up. They left no message. Caller ID  said "Out of area, 1-406-931-3244." I googled it, landed here. I don't pick up "Out of Area" or "Private Caller" calls; I let the machine take these.

I am so fed  up with these calls.....  They are out to get all they can from gullible people and I wish someone would put a stop to it.   My name is on the "DO NOT CALL" list also but they still call.

It waste my time to even look to see who is calling because it MAY be someone I do want to talk to.

Got a call at 10:20 AM today.  Didn't answer, but it still woke a very ill CANCER PATIENT.  HOW DO WE GO AFTER THESE SCUMBAGS?  We have a blocking feature, too, but only have so many 'slots'; they get filled fast.  THEN, if we 'unblock' someone for a new number, the OLD numbers start calling again.  There should be a special service (FREE!) for households with chronically, seriously ill people so that their precious rest is NOT constantly disturbed by these CRIMINALS!  The service would set the time(s) you would let the calls come in, BUT the PHONE wouldn't RING; just display on the Caller ID, so that you could call LEGITIMATE people back, AFTERWARDS.

I get several calls a week that I think are from this number, but I do not have caller ID and I screen my calls with an answering machine. When it gets to the beep, no one is there. Just *69'd it, and this is the number I got.

Got a call about lowering my per cent interest on my card; numerous numerous calss.  Asked what card they were talking about and she says Master card Capital one which I cancelled 3 years ago.  She says "I see that your balance is 3500.00."  I said thats funny I don't even have a Capital One card and she hung up quickly!  Scam big time!  Don't give them the time of day!!
