I suspect it was someone calling to offer a free gas card if I give them my bank account number. I have been getting these type calls lately. I don't have caller id but I was able to get this number by calling *69.

Contact the FCC!  They have a website where you can report this sort of call.  It's illegal if you are on no call list, also their use of a recorded message.  I am filing a complaint now.  I have been getting calls from this company for a better part of a year now!  They also have used 304-445-6838 more recently, which only shows up as 'wireless caller".  They are obviously up to NO GOOD!  Ugh!

These stupid people have called quite a few times.  So, I dialed *69, and got this number.  Well,  I tried to call back.  I thought it had a strange ring to it.  Never could get anybody.

Got several messages from listing "Customer Service". Finally answered call and pressed 1 to speak to live person; said she was from "Card Services" and wanted to lower my interest rate; asked if I owed over $4000; I questioned her about who she was with and how she could have an effect on my interest rate; said they mailed out letter 45 days ago and were following up with phone call; I told her to mail me info and I would not give her any more info...suddenly the phone line went dead! I looked up the number and apparently the listing is in Glendive MT. I am trying to find a way to report this scam!

Had the same experience as most.  Obvious scam based on the language in the recorded intro.  I wanted to find out what they were going to ask so I 'pressed 1.'  The person answered "Card Services" and I asked "Card Services for what company/"  He disconnected.  Has to be an attempt to get your current CC number, exp. date and CCV code.

I have received numerous calls from this number: 406-948-8048 with are recording "Hello this is Rachel from credit card services, there's no problem with your card but if you'd like to reduce your interest rate...." I pressed the number to speak to a real person who himself attempted to sound like a recording and I asked him immediately what company he was calling from, with hesitation he said "Interest Rate Management". I asked to speak to his manager and he hung up on me.

The call went like this, this is your credit card company. There is no current problem with yor account at this time. If you would like to lower your interest rate press1 now. A female answered and ask who was she speaking to? I gave my name and ask her why was she calling me and what credit card was she asking about? She replied yours, I then told her I knew this is a scam and I was quickly hung up on!!

These people have called me twice today.  They pretend to be from your bank, but they don't say which bank they are calling from.  I finally answered the second call and played along by pressing the 1.  I asked them which of my credit cards they were talking about and she said "Either your Mastercard or Visa, we can get you a better interest rate if your balance is over $5000".

HINT!! They are not from your bank and the Customer Service caller ID is part of their scam.

I told her that I was on the national as well as the state no call list. She told me, "We're calling you from India and we are exempt from the no call lists".  Funny, she had a more southern accent than I do.  I didn't know the US was exporting workers to India now.

Just called.  I didn't answer.  Recorded message said to press a number to lower my interest rate and to consider this my final notice.  I do not have a loan or active credit cards.

Recieved a large number of calls from this phone finally they left me a message that I am in trouble because I didn't repay a loan, very heavey Indian accent, he said his name is James Brown and his number is 760-563-2835 and if he didn't hear from me or my lawyer all he could say is God bless you good luck and put the courts on me. I returned the call he didn't know the name of the loan company so I kept asking him questions and he hung up.

I got these guys again today and I have gotten pretty good (at least getting some satisfaction on my end) at wasting their time. I start of with saying that I have huge balances on my credit cards (which I don't) and then we have a little back and forth conversation until my questions and demeanor slowly become extremely sexual and absurd in nature. They of course eventually hang up but I'm up to almost 5 minutes with them. It's pretty entertaining.

Reduce credit card interest.  I always let the answering machine pick up calls when I don't recognize the number.  That's one reason I never give my cell number to any business EVER.....the first time I answer my cell phone and it's some scam artist thinking he's going to take me on my dime, I will cancel service.

PLEASE report ALL calls from this number (and any other numbers that make these kinds of calls) to the Do Not Call Registry at 1-888-382-1222!!!!  The more we report these jerks, the more they'll be aware of the calls.  It's a toll free call and only takes a few minutes to report this.  Please do it!  Thank you!!!

Called me twice today. I have AT&T phone number blocking, so I blocked them from ever calling me again. I also reported them on the www.donotcall.gov website since my number is on the Do Not Call list.  Everyone needs to report them so that the feds go after them. That's the only way that we can stop scam callers !

Ok this is the company information.  I have a 2 year battle with them which includes the Oregon Attorney generals office sending a cease and desist letter to them.  THEY ARE CALLING WITH PERMISSION OF ONE OF YOUR CREDIT CARDS.  I found this out because of the AG's office of Oregon said Bank of America was subcontracting with them.  Their contact information is as follows:

Card Services
1425 W. Cypress Rd.
Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
954-473-7001
www. FIAcardservices.com

They use whatever number they want to put on the caller ID and it won't be their real number.  Contact your states AG office, as this has been the best result for me or call them direct at their florida number.  I hope this helps, I got like 20-30 calls in 2009 from them, the AG's office sent a letter and the calls stopped until 12/2010.

Recorded message left on my voice mail about "last chance" to lower my interest rates. This same or similar message has been calling my phone almost every day for the last couple weeks, always with a different number. I thinks it's best to not answer or respond.

I almost fell for this several months back until they informed me that to reduce my C.C. interest rate, they would have to charge $1,000.00 to my card as a "fee".  I told them no thanks and hung up.

Please remove this annoying company (?) "scam company" from phone 281/759-5267

It is not legit because when you try to get information from them they hang up.

If they were legit and a respectable company why would they not give their actual name on the caller ID?
