The email appears to have originated from Sue & Barry Wilcox, but their relationship to the missing girl is not mentioned.

If you have information on this case, the best thing would be to contact the authorities, not someone who's name got tagged to the end of an email.

Received a text message claiming an Amber Alert with this phone number written inside the text, claiming to be the parents. Googled the number and the same names came up, so then I checked this site. Not sure what to think. From the title of the text, appeared to have been forwarded many, many times.

I'd like to think it was actually meant to help someone, instead of being some sort of complicated (and manipulative) scam.
