Just a hang up message. Obviously a fake number, since there's no such exchange as "000" anywhere and "1234" is almost certainly bogus.

I saw the area code and thought it was somebody else.  When I answered they said they were from my VISA and Mastercard and they wanted to give me a special interest rate and to press some number if I was interested so for fun I did.  Then the next person wanted to know what was the balance on my credit cards and I said "Gee I have no idea, and what bank did you say you were from?"  and they immediately hung up on me.

Just got this call 5 seconds after my friend did whom I was on the phone with while she got the call.  I have no idea how they got my number after talking to her.  When I asked them after pushing 9 how they got my number the man hung up.  SCAM!  I called the cops and they it is not a crime and they can't do anything about it.

Caller ID said "NAME NOT FOUND", but i decided to pick it up. Got the recorded message about interest rates and urgent decision needing to be made. I pressed 9 at the end to speak with someone. Jason answered and wanted to verify my info right away. I asked what company he was calling from and he said "Card Services". He wanted my name and verification of my phone number, but I then asked what the main number of his company was. He had enough of me and disconnected the call.

I filed a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) 1-877-FTC-HELP.

They confirmed it is a credit-card scam. The scammers call from telephone number 321-397-2036, and manage to send to your caller ID the fake number 407-000-1234. There is no point in calling them to take your number off their list, or register with the national no-call registry: the scammers are acting outside the law already and do not care.

However, if the FTC receives enough complaints there are more chances that it will be able to legally pursue this organization.

More Credit Card scammers who want to 'lower my interest rate'. The only thing they are interested in is a Credit Card number. Don't give it to them or your account will be maxxed out in no time! Computer generated, these calls come in several times a week. The national 'Do Not Call Registry' should be the "Do Not Care Registry' for all the good it does.

I received a call a few days ago, and when I answered it I heard a recorded message that told me they were "Cardmember Services".  It then told me that my time was running out for my eligibility to sign up for a 6% interest rate on my credit card, and then it said to press some # if was interested.  I hung up.  I have had a 6% interest rate on my Amazon.com credit card that was set up last Oct by Chase so they could deduct the credit payments out of my checking account.  Last week I cancelled the remaining payments because I was going to pay the card off.  Therefore I think this generated this call.  I received calls from this number in the past, but I never answered them.

Got this call a few minutes ago with a recording asking if I wanted info about lower interest rates. I hung up. I called Verizon and they said call the FCC 877-382-4357. FCC was very nice and pretty much said that the solution was not to answer since whoever they are would not cooperate with the do not call list. We get similsr calls from an 062 area code number.

This number called two times in a row.  I let my machine take the call.  They left no message.  I get calls daily from various unfamiliar numbers.  Most are 800 numbers but then there are numbers like this one.  They never leave a message. I suspect the calls may come from the same source and they call from different numbers to make me think someone different is calling. This is harrassment and an invasion of my privacy and peace of mind.  I am making a list of these calls and I will send them with a complaint to my state attorney general.
