They are always calling my house and will not give me information. So far, I got that they screen who I am to qualify me then she said she would transfer me to an account Representative. When I ask the name of the company she hung up. Tracey with Card Services!! I have contacted the police dept. about these harrassing calls! Please help me find out who this is!! She said they were in Florida... last time I spoke to someone.. they said they were in Texas.

Just received a phone call from that number. It was a recording saying to press 9 to lower my interest rate on my credit card. I press 9, it rings several times. I female eventually picks up saying, "Credit card services I understand you are interested in lowering your interest rate?". I say, "Who are you calling for?. Then they hung up on me. Obviously a scam.

I have been on "do not call" since day one and recently confirmed that it is permanent. Also we are automatically placed on Georgia Do Not Call but these nitwits call over and over. I hardly ever answer, but it is tiresome to look up at the caller ID and then have them not leave a message on the machine. Can anybody tell me how to make them just go away? Thanks

I am also on a do not call list and just got a phone call from this number.  Exactly the same as one of the above comments- it was a recording asking me to  press 9 to lower my interest rate.  I press 9 just so I could tell them not to call again and to take me off the list- they hung up.  What the f*** is wrong with this situation?  I've done everything I know to do to not get these calls and they continue to call and when I tell them I don't want them to call again they hang up!  I'm extremely pissed

Why have a "Do Not Call List" when you get these kind of scam calls. Ask them any questions and they hang up. A public nuisance. I think I'm going to get me an air horn to welcome these callers to my home.

Same deal here.  They keep calling - if no one is home they don't leave a message - if we're here and pick up, a pre-recorded message instructs you to hit 9 to lower your interest rate - and when you get a live person (steve, or some girl) and tell them to put you on their don't call list they simply hang up on you.  We get calls from this number several times a week, and we're tired of it too!  What a SCAM!  What do we do to make this +STOP+!!  BTW when I hit *67 followed by the number it doesn't go through.

Yeah same crap we have a private number unlisted and get the same thing I pressed 9 just to ask them how they got my number cause my intrest rate is lower than there 6.9% already and well all she said is she is not an operator and then click. so yeah I think I will do the same as above and have an air horn by my phone and click 9 and let them have it and then hang up on them :))) any one with me LETS GET THEM SCAMERS BACK!!! maybe they will go out and get a real job like we have to....

I have received several calls from this number. The caller identifies himself as "Steve" with "Credit Services". This is all bogus information as he further goes on to state he "purchased" my information from Experian. I have bocked his number from ever calling my home again, at least from that number as well as contacted the local authorities, Verizon, Cox Communications and Lifelock (which I am a member of). This is a SCAM. When you call the number back after blocking your number via *67 it goes to a cell phone with "Steve's" voice on the outgoing message. I have further gone on to reverse the harrassment to him by blocking my number and continuing to call him at all hours. I will report his criminal activity on every blog out there. When he changes his MO I will do this plan over and over again until he choses another way to be a criminal. It appears he uses a computer, a throw away track phone, and highjacks unassigned wireless numbers to conduct his illegal activities. We can all use *67 then dial his number.  This will block your number to him. Keep calling him so he can not continue to conduct his criminal activity.

Same same - does it really help to call police? Got recorded message, hit 9, told them person who handles that is not in, could we get the company name and a phone # and they hung up, and # does not exist so nothing you can do. Call local phone co and they just want you to listen to their informational recordings telling you there's nothing THEY can/will do. SOMEBODY TWITTER AND MYSPACE THE NUMBER! And hey, one of you out there is RELATED to people who make these calls ... come on, guilt these people out of existence!

Just received a call from 407-000-4321 (September 18, 2008, at 4:06pm). Number was obviously bogus because there are no "000" exchanges. Answered and got a recording from "Card Services" offering to lower my credit card interest rates to 6.something %, it's a limited time offer, please press 0 to speak to a representative to lower my rates. I pressed 0, got a fellow who also identified himself as being with "Card Services." When I asked which card and company is he calling about because he has not identified himself properly, he said, "It's about your card number - " and hung up. Immediately called the number back and left a message that I am calling the police. Got a call back from a gal in San Francisco (510 area code) said I'd just left a message on her cell phone. Her cell phone is a completely different number, so these folks have obviously set up a call forwarding so that all calls get routed to her cell number. She also is contacting the police.

These folks keep calling and calling.  Finally I chose to hit "9" hoping to request to be removed from the call list.  "Stan" hung up on me after I voiced my request.  I too called back only to find that the number is somehow bogus!!! How frustrating!

Same MO, received a call today and was told to hit "9" to lower my interest rate, but they didn't identify who they were.  We did not hit "9" as we thought it was some scam.  No credit card company would make calls like this.

I had the same call and was told by the guy that when I pressed 9 to speak with someone I was giving up my do not call rights. He said that Experian gave them my number during an "account review." I asked him to send me a copy of their do not call policy and to add me to it. He told me to "have a blessed day." Which I am sure is his code for %%^&^^$@#$% you.

Received on my cell phone this afternoon at 4:10pm. I hit "ignore" since I was at work and thought the number must be bogus.

He/She left a voicemail, but sounded so muffled could not make out what was said. Think it was only one or two words, very short message.
