Tia 2012-11-08 19:00:14 Unknown
Received a call from them today at 10:55 AM. The caller ID on my phone said, "Name Not Found." They were asking for a Lin Lin Ki? I told them I they have the wrong number and no one is here by that name. They hung up.
I tried calling the number back, but it didn't work.

On Saturday, January 31, 2009, at 9:41 AM, our Phone rang from 1-407-000-4712 and I answered the call on the 3rd Ring but there was only ambient noise followed by a hang-up on their end.

They have called more than once. It starts with a prerecorded message about lowering my credit card rate, and says hit 9 to speak with a representative. I hit 9, and when someone answers I tell them it is illegal to call registered numbers in Indiana, and I want them to put me on their no call list. They just hang up. I just filed a complaint with our Indiana Attorney Generals office. Last time I did this on an insurance company sales call, the Attorney General sued them and was able to collect $10,000 for the state. Cool! I have not gotten any more calls for insurance, but now this Card Services outfit is on my list. We'll see what happens.

Got a call with a recorded female voice stating it is from "account services" and said if I wanted to lower my interest rate, press "9". I did, and was immediatley connected to another female (black) and she asked if I pressed "9". I asked her what company she is with, then she hung up on me.
PHISHING SCAM!
amy henegar 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
Recorded message about lowering my rate on my credit card. Pressed 9 to ask to be removed from the list. The man who answered yelled at me then hung up.

They are trying to sell lower interest rates, and clain=m to represent Visa/Mastercard.
When pressed for their compnay name, and exactly what card they are calling about, the " floor supervisor" got on and was obscene, she said F*** You!

Received call from this number. When I answered it there was a background noise with static and possibly someone hitting the hang up button. When I did a reverse lookup on this number, it came back "Number Does Not Exist".
Sarah 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
It was an offer to lower my interest rates on my credit card. As before, when this company calls I ask what company it is and they hang up.
Tom 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
Sounds like "Heather from Account Services" is back again -- with a slightly different name.
Lou 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
Wanted to reduce my credit card rates if I want to do this dial9 some how we got disconnected. When I did a reverse call it went to my area code and a number that did not have the 000 in it. The answering machine said no one was there and to leave a message I hung up and called my local TV Station yo report what had happened

I have the technology that I traced your call to your location and you can expect a visit from me very soon. You and the rest of the marketing sub-human slimes can all go to hell and I'm booking your passage personally. I'm going to rock your world and there's not a damn thing you can do to stop me! Ha Ha Ha

I think this company uses many ph#s over a period of time. I keep track of all my C/ID listings & they've called with this 407# only 3 times, 5/09/08, 3/03 & 3/04/09. I've received suspicious calls under 904, 850 & 305 or so I've researched so far, for the past year & half. They always have some spiel about trying to get my personal information. I usually tell them that I'm on the do-not-call-list & to remove my # from their list & when they call back I tell them that I've reported them to the FTC for donotcall violations. Report them to the FTC. Report all the #s. Yes, annoying though if we don't fight back we're part of the problem not to solution.

Call comes in and ask to push 9 and they say they are credit card services and they can lower your interest rate to 6% on your Visa or Master Card. I ask them who they were with and they couldnt tell me. I told them they were a scam because I do not have a Visa and Master Card and she quickly hung up. Something needs to be done. I am going to contact the AG of Indiana tomorrow and report this number.

I have my phone number on a 'do not call' list. I do not want this person or persons to call me back again!
DJ 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
2 calls from this # came in within a half hour. "Rachel from Card Services" on a recorded intro (ILLEGAL IN ND!) gives the spiel about "your credit card account" and gave the option to push 9. I did, and when the live person came on I didn't even get a chance to finish "Take my number off your list" before she hung up. On the 2nd call, I pushed 9 during Rachel's bit, and got a recording about the "Bright Mark" representative I was trying to reach not being available and I couldn't leave a message. I'm hoping for another call so I can ask how much the person on the other end enjoys working in a criminal enterprise. There's no doubt that this is a phishing scam. Spoofing a bogus phone # is illegal, pre-recorded sales pitches are illegal in my state, and they're up to no good. I'd like to be able to maybe track them down and have the Attorney General go after them.

Received call at 12:11pm on 2/24/09, didn't answer. I just put a Security Freeze and Fraud Alert with the Credit agencies for the first time a month ago, because of an incident that spooked me. After reading this, it was none too soon!!! I'd advise everyone do one or the other.

I got the call around lunch time and I redialed the number and the message was that the number had been disconnected.
No Dummy 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
Same story as everyone else. I don't ever amswer calls from numbers I do not recognize. Reported to DNC registry. This did trace to a land line though, and as such should be fairly easy for government authoities to find, if they wanted to.

I received a call saying they were from the Santa Barbara County jail in California and would I accept a call from a particular inmate (who had my brother's name). I did not, my brother is in NC.
Isabel Chicquor 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
They left no message.

I just got this call and it was a woman's voice recording saying that my credit card was fine and they had an opportunity to lower my interest rate. I just hung up as soon as I heard that because it's totally a scam...
Sheila Read 2011-06-06 20:48:02 Unknown
When we don't recognize the number then we let the answering machine answer it well it got the answering machine and it hung up.

Got a call, didn't answer. It just said the number and Florida on the caller ID. I don't answer numbers I don't know. It rang for 5 minutes!
