I just recieved a phone call from 407-000-5935 that was a recorded messages saying if I wanted to lower my interest rate on my credit cards to press 9. So I did exactly that out of curiousity. The guy came to the line and said he was with card member services and was going to help me lower my interest rates. I said for what card, and he replied Master Card, Visa, American Express. I said what company did you say you were with. He replied card member services we are the ones who process your payments if you look on page 1 of all your bills. I said really he said we sent you some information awhile back in the mail but were giving you one final chance to take advantage of this offer. I said really and how did I get so lucky he said, well ma'am its pretty simple. Due to your excellent payment history and credit scores you meet the qualifications for a lower interest rate. I said hold up sir, my payment history in the last six months has sucked and I am behind on everything...so I doubt what you say is true. (I am currently unemployed and being brutally honest). Once I said that to him, he hung up on me... BEWARE This is obviously some sort of a scam.

I didn't answer the phone as when I saw a 000 extension, I said this can't be real.  I let it go to voicemail and guess what, they didn't bother to leave one.  guess they really didn't want to talk to me.  From what I have read, it is definately a scam

Got a call from this number about lowering the rate on my credit card.  This is interesting as I do not have any credit cards.  When I informed the caller of that fact, she immediately hung up.  I believe that this is a scam trying to get personal information.  Do not answer.
