Received a call form this number, didn't answer it.

They called and hung up when my machine turned on. I am on the Do Not Call list so I dont know how they got through.  There was a number but
no name available on id.

I, too, received a phone call from this number, on my cellphone.  I have reported this instance to the CT AG and FCC.

I just received a call from this number today it rang twice and they hung up no message, they also called my husbands cell phone today and did the same thing.

"This call came to a Legal department."  When we responded with this info, they hung up immediately. Obviously something is not correct, sounds like a come-on. Stay away from providing this type caller with any personal information.

I got the same call. Called three times in one day. I finally picked up and after I pressed 9, some guy with an accent picked up. He asked if I was calling to make a payment. I told him I didn't know who he was, and he immediately hung up on me. WHAT?? How do I report these guys, and does it make a difference?

I just got a call also.....like Patty...I too pressed 9. Didn't get the guys name, he said are you calling about lowering the interest rate on your credit card? I said and what card would this be, because I don't have any credit cards and to take me off the calling list, and he hung up on me too. I am reporting this to the National Do Not Call List.

This is the third time this number has called me. I finally answered and pressed 9 - "to talk to a live operator". When "Charles" answered I told him to take my number off...and he hung up. Scam

Good for you, Xhia. I'm in CT, too, and have been getting calls all day from these folks. I don't answer unknown numbers. It is very annoying to get up, see who is calling, etc. And no, they have not left a number. Glad you reported it to the Atty. General's office. Our boy Rich will take care of this!

I just got a call from 407-000-6938 at the University of Michigan hospital!! I pressed 9 and a man answered but I couldn't understand what he was saying. When I questioned who the company was he hung up. I reported this to the FCC

I just got a call from this number.  I always go online to check numbers I don't recognize.  I am also on the DNR.  I never bother to pick up but it is annoying.  I have filed a complaint also with the FCC and with the Attny General here in CT.

Yea ive gotten 5+ calls from a 407-000-xxxx number. I have gotten through to a representative every time. And have been hung up on every time once i start asking too many questions. 407 area code is out of Florida. They are a scam, they will not give you any information on their address, None of their numbers can be called back and they wont realllly tell you who they are, one guy said they were a "national financial services company" national financial services is a very legitmate company run by fidelity and is not connected to these yahoo's.

I keep reporting them on the do not call registry website, so hopefully someone will crack them eventually. keep up the effort on wasting their time as much as they waste others.

the longer you can keep them on the line is more time they cannot spend suckering in someone who doesn't know better.

I do think they have caught on to me at this point however, the last time i pressed 9 they hung up on me before even saying hello!

Automated recording .... which is against the law now.  Claims to be able to reduce my credit card debt.  Uh....OK.....sure.  I don't have ANY credit card debt!  Scammers are out to get your cc information.  REPORT THEM.  I'm going to report them right now.

They just called me.  I pressed nine, got a live person on the call, they asked if I called to have my credit cards reduced.  I said no, and advised him that it is hard for me to answer the phone, as I am disabled.  He then slammed the phone in my ear. a-hole.  next time these jerks call, I am going to bait them with false information, then, after a couple minutes, advise them that I just wasted their time, like they wasted mine.

This is the first time I received a call from this number. I saw it was a strange number and did not answer. THey hung up and did not leave a message.

Got a call from this number again today.  I hit "9" when prompted and got a lady.  I asked the name of the company.  "Card Services"  I asked the mailing address and the response was, "Are you ready for this?  S*** my **** Virginia."   It's a scam and should be reported to the FCC.  I would HIGHLY encourage anyone who gets a call from a bogus phone number to report it to the FCC.

Can't call back the #. They say they could help with debt consolidation and asked for credit details. Said they would call back. They did not. ???? Makes me a bit nervous! They were able to find a credit card i gave for them to check. They asked if I had a Card with an open balance. I said "no", out of question. They said they had another program for someone as myself with 12 thsnd.+ in debt. I gave them my Last name and the last four digits of my Soc. Us poor folks really can be idiots at times. Anyone know of a similar situation. They called me. I filled out an online form.
