Sounds like someone is trying to get your credit card numbers. I have had the same number call over and over and keep hanging up on me to have it removed.
How can we report numbers like this? I feel very strongly this is a way for someone to steal someone's identity. How did they get our phone numbers to begin with? Mine is not listed.

I have been receiving these calls for some time now. I have never been able to connect to a live person when given the option from the voice recording. I would like to find out who this company is. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I may go about doing this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I get calls from this number and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. If you call it back it says it can not connect and then goes in to a recorded message.

Funny how the donotcall.gov site won't accept an invalid number such as 4070008427.

Go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint.
This is what I filed:
"Continually getting calls from this number - 407-000-8427.
They are also using 407-000-6543.
It's a telemarketing firm offering lower interest rates on credit cards. On one occasion, I connected to a customer service representative and told them I was on the DO NOT CALL List. Before I can tell them that I want to be removed from their calling list, I am immediately hung up on. Calling the number back results in a message that says the number cannot receive incoming calls. I cannot stop this firm from harassing me."
If enough people file a complaint, the government will fine them for every complaint they receive.

On several occasions, I have been connected to a customer service representative, or an operator from the firm, and every time I start to tell the CSR that I want to be removed from their calling list, I am immediately hung up on. Calling the number back results in a message that says the number cannot receive incoming calls. I cannot stop this firm from harassing me.
