They called about a half hour ago. Thank God for Caller ID. As soon as I saw the 000 exchange, I just switchhook the call and hang it up. Same as all the calls from 000-000-0000 and numbers like that.
If I don't recognize a number these days, the chances are pretty remote that I'll answer the call. If the caller doesn't leave a message, screw them.

I just got a call from this number too. I'm really sick of all these scammers so I've started answering the calls & having a little fun with them. (Pretend they really have me hooked, ask all sorts of stupid questions "Do you like pudding? I like pudding.") I figure it's their dime they're using to call me--I might as well have a little fun with it.
This number called with some automated message about "lowering interest rate on my credit card". It said to push 9 to speak to a representative to "take advantage of this limited time offer". I pushed 9--someone answer with "Cardholder Services". I just said I need to have my phone number removed from their calling list & he promptly hung up on me. I'll keep answering & keep doing the same thing until I finally get all these stupid calls to stop.

Didn't leave a message, and you can't put it on the do not call list registry because of the 000, which sucks...first time of getting this number.

Suspected telemarketer, so put portable earpiece against mouthpiece and kicked in squealing feedback. Was sorry to get a recorded message. Real human telemarketers go deaf with this, at least for awhile. It stops the calls.
