Just got the same text on my phone as the rest of you. I wondered at first since it came over as a text like that of my carrier if it was a scam; however having read all of your posts I believe my suspicions have been confirmed. This text did not contain the letters (SSFCU). I will admit that I did call the number, but unfortunately for them, their voice automated machine is in spanish only.

My mother in law received this but was wise enough to forward it to me.

Well here we are together, a part of a big scam. I would like to text them back with something that says FBI coming to get you...F***rs. See how they feel....frustrating

I just got it too. I looked up SSFCU, and when I called them, (since the phone number goes somewhere in Florida, to a "church or something", probably fake), I got a recording immediately warning about text message & email fakes, & said not to give out any card information, etc.. So, it's definitely a scam, and I'm reporting it to the No-call people...

I received the text message on my cell phone "SSFCU-Alert. Please call (407) 290-6555". I would assume it's a scam.

Got this page, recorded message, asking for my credit card number to 're-activate my' card. And it said it would ask for 2 more pieces of information. I'm sure the pin and security code on the back. Big SCAM, hang up and don't call back
