this number called me and said i was picked to win a free trip for me and my husband.then they said i would get a call from this number 888-884-8562 to let me no where to pick it up at. is this a scam cause i call both numbers back and i get no answer something dont sound right.

Just rented a vacation home in the area where this caller is from Kissemmee, FL as we are actively planning a vacation to Disney World in Orlando/Kissemmee area. I didn't pick up on the call and they didn't leave a message. Likely a travel scam as others have said but they likely started calling because of our Disney plans. If they do reach us I won't be falling for anything.

I do not have time every 5 minutes to answer a telemarketing or prank call. PLEASE............put this number out of service.

This is a phone number checker. A computer calls you to see if someone will answer so they can sell the number to companies as a good occupied phone line for future sales calls.

Aggresively trying to give me a free "trip" for taking a survey - I don't have to buy anything etc etc - been calling me for years.  407 373 1547. Won't stop calling no matter what I say, won't take NO for an answer. Called at 7:30pm.

When we know there is a telemarketer on the line we let the kids get it. Today, my oldest(11) gets on with a British accent and has a cnversation with this lady until the lady said, you sound young how old are u? 12. O, you sound young and British so the lady started trying to talk in a British accent by asking for her mum or daad! LOL

Just recieved a call from this number today. A women asked for a "Mr. Brown" which didn't catch me off guard much, after activating our home phone we've been recieving a lot of calls for this person. Telling her this, she begins to tell me that my phone number has been selected to win 2 free airline tickets for one year to any destination of my choice. That I did not have to use the trip, I could give it away. She mentioned her company name which I believe was Florida digital Network, INC. ??? Never heard of them. I am also in sales [timeshare promotions, representing Bluegreen Resorts and Universal Stuidios] So I began to tell her I wasn't interested that I have dicounted trips. She said well that is okay this isn't timeshare, continuing to ramble on asking about my demographic profile, [ if married, age, etc.]. Again I told her I didn't register for this, she had the right number but wrong person and to select someone else. Getting very rude she said why wouldn't I be intrested this vacation is worth over $1000 and you have a year to use it. I said with all do respect, I told you three times I wasn't interested please take me off I really don't want to get nasty with you. She thanked me and hung up.

Also tried calling back after, and it said that this number was no longer in service...

gotten 3 calls everytime around 805pm no message left they hang up when i call that number back it says the number is non allocated. pissed and mad just stop calling me you morons!!!

This number keeps calling. Today i answered & they said they were calling from Direct Buy in my local area & said I won fully paid trip. They wanted to know if I was married..or if I had a significant other. I just hung up. Sounded like an Asian girl pronounciating  words in English.  
scam- definitely----sounds like little devils playing games trying to get identity info.  Beware!

These idiots have been calling continuously for about a year.  They call anywhere from once a week to several times a week.  I've told them to STOP CALLING.  I've SHRIEKED at the very top of my lungs in their ear (if I could get my hands on a whistle, I'd blow it in their ear!!).  I've demanded to speak to the supervisor (to which they immediately hang up the phone).  I have picked up the phone and immediately slammed it down in their ear.  I have now registered with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and if they continue to call after a month has passed, I will file a complaint with the FCC each and every time they call.

Just received a call from this number. young female voice. almost inaudible, asked who was calling and then they hung up. called back and got the same recording that others have reported.Anyone know who this is or if it is a scam???

I just got this call.. and considering I'm in Canada, it's extremely annoying because our "govt" won't ban these fools from calling.... so we get to be annoyed by them night and day. Lovely.

Message on my answering machine from this number stated (young female voice): "You're gonna die"

WHen I call it back, I get a message immediately saying (young male voice): "The number you have dialed is unallocated" and then it goes busy.

They are selling a phoney travel club, Oasis Travel. No travel club saves you any money. Save your money and agrivation.

Called and asked for me by Mrs. "___".  Called my business line.  I didn't know who it was, so said she wasn't in.  They asked oh is this her sister or mother???  I said it is a business line and they hung up.

they called me too.. and then returned the call and it said this phone call is not allocated

they called and asked for my wife,, i don't know, but this needs to come to a stop

caller told me I won a trip to hawaii, asked if I was a citizen, which I'm not then told me I'm not eligible.

same as above- no one on the line, called back and no answer. can you call the phone company and have them ban this number. it seems like there is some one weird on the other end, either that or its haunted. (prob just weird)
