It is illegal in the United States to require anyone to pay an upfront fee, insurance, processing fee - whatever they call it - to receive a loan.  

If you gave the scammers money through Western Union, or a pre-paid card, like Green Dot - your money is gone and there is no way to get it back.  If it was through a credit card or bank account, contact your card company or your bank and report this as fraud.  Report the callers to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  

I also have asked Admin to redact your email address - it's not good to post your email address or other personal information on a public forum where more spammers and scammers might find this.  If you need more information on these type of scams, go to  http://www.ftc.gov/

I applied for a payday loan from these people. so far it has cost me $900.00. they gave me a tracking number from western union that does not ex.  then I call them back they say that the money is there. they are such liers. now Im out $900.00 and they say they can't realise the money back to me. I think something should be done to these people. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. I want to sue them. now I cant pay my bill that needed to be paid. I have been getting the same calls, he tells me his name is Adam Ryan and that I owe a payday loan. He keeps calling my cell phone and my job. I have blocked his phone number on my cell but he keeps calling my job. I did however call the police and but an harrassement claim against the phone number they will be contacing the Florida dectetive to see if they can find him and stop him.

Who is using this number?

His old number was 407-385-3183.  When I told him I reported him, he changed it.  He will not pick up.

I am receiving harrassing phone calls from an Adam Miller who says I owe money from a payday loan that was done last year in March to my checking acct.  I have not had a checking account in over 2 years.  He is threatening me and harassing people I work with.  It is a Magic Jack.  I have reported him to IC3 site, he doesn't seem to care.  He also wants me to pay using Pay Pal?  I need help!!!  He won't listen to what I am trying to tell him and that I did not do this.  He calls my job up to 25 time a day.  He calls the receptionists baby and honey then laughs. I really need help.  This could cost me my job.  I am a single mother and grandmother.  I work at Catholic Family Center.
