I have no warranty on my vehicle, nor have I ever had one while I've owned it so I knew it was bogus in the first place but I've gotten calls like this before and it's while I'm at work.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number as well, I'm in MA. I pressed one because if you press 2 to have your number removed, it hangs up. I actually got to speak to someone this time, they stated their name was David and the name of the company is Vehicle Protection Services. Of course every supervisor was in a meeting. He gave me this number to call that was a sup/complain line. I tried getting a name of someone in a managerial position or at the very least David's operator ID, but he just proceded to say "have a nice day" and promply hung up.  I just called the number he gave me. It gave a typical wait time countdown, then said zero minutes, "goodbye" and then laughed and went to some radio commercial. That number is 805-351-8307

This is what I found when trying to lookup info on the number that called me in the first place(407-393-5789):

They called my cell phone - I'm in Virginia - and gave me the same schpiel as everybody else. I called called back and got some clown named Christian (I think) who proceeded to mumble inaudibly in response to my every question before hanging up on me.

My teenager isn't even licensed to drive yet, but he gets so many of these calls on his cell phone that he now refuses to listen to ANY voice messages -- which means his father and I have trouble reaching him now too.

What can be done to stop these people?!

I am in CT - seems like this "vendor" targets by region.  The call to me came in on June 21st as well.  12:35.  Ordinarily, my phone is always off, as it exists only for MY convenience.... Timing was impeccible - my cell was on, waiting for a friend's call, who is from Florida and whose band was traveling through the region; recognizing the area code, I answered it....  WRONG!  So I missed the anticipated, "unidentified" call because I "accepted" the wrong one.  I now have to wait 6 months to connect with him again.

I'm from CT. I too been receiving these freak'in annoying calls from
954-734-8504 and 407-393-5789.  They said they are calling from "Warranty Service Center".  They need your car info so that they can pull up whatever bull s*** file they are talking about, to then offer you warranty special packages of your choice, since your current one is or will be expiring.
I ripped them a new one and told them to get a REAL *f* job/career and stop wasting my time.

I get many calls from various numbers, this one included, that are apparently coming from the same origin. After researching this, my best guess is that this is an information-gathering agency that:

1) Wants to obtain the VIN# of your automobile(s)
2) Is associated with a group of debt collection agencies
3) May be associated with the Internal Revenue Service

Don't give them any information if they call and do not call them back. The agency is obviously bogus and is attempting to obtain asset information, your address, etc., that is, anything information that is associated with your automobile(s) (and there's a lot of info associated with it/them).

I get this three times a day.  Answered it and told them to take me off the list.  Then they started calling from another number.  I don't want a warranty, I have a new car!

This is taking up my cell phone minutes and really ticking me off.  Wish there was a way to block it.

Phone call to my cell phone regarding my extend warranty. They said they were affiliated with Chrysler and they needed my VIN#. I stated if they were affiliated with Chrysler they would already have all of this information. The gentleman said a few choice words to me then hung up!
Nice.

I answered this. Recording said this was my last chance to renew my car warranty. Call may be from Toyota, since I have a Toyota I bought 3 years ago. However, I bought an extended warranty when I bought the car, so I don't need an extension.
