Received a call from this number, but no one answered.

the company name changes but usually includes words like energy solutions or energy association.  They have nothing to do with florida power co.  they try to schedule an energy audit and say they can save on your electric bill if you convert to solar and refer to economic recovery funds being available to cover the cost.  i got many calls from them over the past month, always telling them i'm not interested.  it doesn't make any difference.  why they continue to hound people who don't want the service is nuts.  the calls are from cell phones and they keep changing the numbers; 407-967-6631, 407-968-2258, 407-415-4455, 407-857-2746, 407-412-8060 and there are probably others.  i wouldn't give them the time of day, let alone do business with them.

I've lost count of how many messages they have left at my business. now they are calling my home number to talk about my electric bill for the business.  it IS HARRASSMENT and nothing less. Southeast Energy Consultants, they need to just STOP.

Always calling:

Telemarketers must provide a caller ID
If you have caller ID, a telemarketer is required to transmit or display its phone number and, if available, its name or the name and phone number of the company for which it is selling products. The display must include a phone number that you can call during regular business hours to ask that the company no longer call you. This rule applies even if you have an EBR (established business relationship, see below) with the company, and even if you have not registered your home phone number(s) on the national Do-Not-Call list. You may remember that before these rules took effect, the words ?private,? ?out of area,? or ?unavailable? might have appeared on the Caller ID display.

How to file a complaint
The FCC can issue warning citations and impose fines against companies violating or suspected of violating the do-not-call rules, but does not award individual damages. If you receive a telephone solicitation that you think violates any of these rules, you can file a complaint with the FCC. You can file your complaint

Sue the Telemarketers!
Some states permit you to file law suits in state court against persons or entities violating the do-not-call rules. You may be awarded $500 in damages or actual monetary loss, whichever is greater. The amount may be tripled if you are able to show that the caller violated the rules willfully and knowingly. Filing a complaint with the FCC does not prevent you from also bringing a suit in state court.

States also can bring a civil law suit against any person or entity that engages in a pattern or practice of violating the TCPA or FCC rules. You can contact your state Attorney General?s office or consumer protection agency with particular complaints, or to encourage such suits.

These people constantly call my elderly parents.  It is to the point of harrassment at 8:30 pm

Southeast Energy Solutions is the company. I answered their call expecting it was somebody else that I was expecting to call at the time.  I told the pushy rep, who was trying to sell "free" solar panels, that I'd have to call him back and asked for his number.  He told me he could only call out but I insisted and I received his caller ID number 407-415-4455.  If you call the number you'll get a recording of somebody coughing and a voice saying the mailbox is full.  Creepy....

Called and asked "Is this [MY NAME]?" And I asked "Who is this?"  Went back and forth 3 times and I finally said "You lose"...click.
