I also received a call from this number several times about lowering my credit card interest rates. I pressed 1 as instructed and asked that my number be removed, the man who answered hung up on me. I am reporting them now to the Do Not Call Registry.

Have received a few calls over the last few months/weeks? If I do not know the calling party or number I allow the machine to answer. No message ever left, hang up only.
My recommendation "Do not answer" 407 444 2112

They keep calling even after I asked them to take me off their list. I finally asked for a supervisor and spoke to a Mr. Blane. He then told me he would NOT take me off the list but he would call me every 5 minutes. I'm calling my phone company to complain since I'm on the National Do Not Call List.

Received a call saying press 1 to speak and press 2 to remove. First I pressed 2, only to have the message play back again. Then talked to an annoying agent who gave me a fake/disconnected number 808-234-5623 and address in Hawaii, calling himself "Jahakii". When I asked him to remove my number he said he would like explain why this is not a marketing call since he is not trying to sell you anything but just trying to lower my interest rates if I provide him my credit card number (!!). When I refused, he said "Well then you will keep getting these calls" and hung-up. Son of a b***h...

They now keep on calling our business lines and when you hit the 9 to get to tell them to stop, all you get is ringing and no one answers. I have reported this number to the 'Do Not Call Registry' for Canada and lets see what happens.

I am getting so mad at receiving these almosts daily phone calls.
Is there any way to get a class action suit against not only this company, but the forwarding company and telephone company who is allowing these people to have the phone numbers for these scams??

We got a call from 407-444-2112 at about noon today and it was computerized call I just listened and did nothing (about lowering your rate on credit card) of which I have none and then they repeated the message again and eventually the call was cancelled. We are on the Do Not Call List and why can't something be done.
Laura 2009-03-24 16:20:54 Unknown
they are offering lower rates on your charge card, but when you ask what charge card..they hang up on you
Laura 2009-03-24 16:19:48 Telemarketer
They hang up on me when I try to find out what credit card of mine they are trying to offer a lower rate on.

They call my home between 4:30am - 6:30am on the weekdays and weekends on a weekly basis. I let the answering machine pick it up - there is no message. I'm sure it's an machine calling.
Let me know how to get rid of these pests that wake me from my needed beauty sleep!

recv'd call at noon 3/17 from 407-444-2112 telling me to hit 1 to lower interest rate on my Credit Cards. Caller ID said this was FLORIDA CALL. NO one answered the other end . It was an auto call. Same call received on 1/20/09 and 2/27/09.
I am on Do Not Call list -- so just another FTC complain filed. My banks both assure me this is no one from them calling.

I just received a call 3/4/09 from this number. I have received calls several times from this number and the automated voice tells me that while there is no problem with my credit cards, they can lower my rates. Press 1 to talk to someone. This time I pressed 1 and when the man answered he asked if I was calling lower my credit card rates. I told him I wanted my number removed from the call list and he hung up on me. I just reported them to the do not call registry.

They told me I had no problem with my credit card but I could lower my rates if I hit 1. Stupidly, I hit 1 and it rang and rang and eventually someone picked up and said "Thank you for calling about lowering your interest rates" and hung up on me. Who are these people??
Eric 2009-03-04 16:19:11 Telemarketer
I keep getting these calls. The call is automated and says that there is no problem with your credit card, and that you should stay on the line to find out if you can get the interest rate lowered. This is BULL!
wiero 2009-02-27 21:32:25 Unknown
called at 1151am following many "OUT of AREA" calls where no one picked up.
The call is automated and says that there is a problem with your credit card.
I JUST HUNG UP AND FILED A COMPLAINT WITH "DO NOT CALL".

Got a call from 407-444-2112.
Recoded voice about credit card interest rates.
They've called a number of times, always from some
bogus number.
Being on the do-not-call list, I am determined to put a stop
to these a-holes.
I hit '1' and spoke to a person. These people are cagey, and
I've tried to get their real number in the past by asking
them for it. I've even been told (by them) that the number
is 1-800-eat-s***. :-)
This time, I asked if there was a website I could go to to verify
they were legit.
They directed me to haninc.net.
I'm not sure if this isn't just another scam, but the website might
be a good starting point for locating them...

Recorded voice tells you to press 1 to lower your credit card rates. A man comes on and asks, "Do you owe more than $2,500 on your credit card?" My answer, "Probably. My wife writes the checks." This is followed by a dial tone.

I continually receive calls from this company about lowering my credit card rate. This morning I reported them to the National Do Not Call Registry. It is beyond annoying.
hazeleyes 2009-02-27 17:23:48 Telemarketer
The call was about our credit card, no problem with the card but caller would lower our interest rates. We are on the DO NOT CALL list (USA) and I am extremely annoyed at the increase in these calls since January 20, 2009.
Dana Farokhi 2009-02-27 17:10:06 Unknown
I received, but missed answering, a call from this number on 2/27 around 11 AM. No message was left.
Audi 2009-02-23 19:10:14 Unknown
The call is automated and says that there is a problem with your credit card, and that you should stay on the line to find out if you can get the interest rate lowered. If you stay on the line it redirects you, but no one ever picked up. I was concerned because they refer to a card you have already.

I am on the 'Do Not Call List' for Canada. I have reported this phone number. They are calling on a call re-direct and getting me on a Cel Phone in Thailand with huge mobile charges here and waking us up in the middle of the night.
I do hope that they are put a stop to if the Do Not Call List is to have any meaning.

I frequently received calls from 407-444-2112 that say "You have won a cruise, press 9 for further information" I do not press 9. There is no name and the number is 000-000-0000. The last call had a number, 407-444-2112 which I dialed only to receive notification that the number had been changed. I dialed the new number and connected to a ligitimate software development company who had chznged their numberlast March 2008.
It would seem that someone, somehow, is using the old number to run their cruise scam.
