Heads up folks.  I am almost positive this has nothing to do with any type of cancer charity.  There is a rash of calls going around with the same objective.  They are scammers and the way they are doing it is called caller ID spoofing.  This was explained to me by a woman at the FTC when I filed a complaint against another bunch of numbers from area code 202 showing Cancer Inst Am or AICR.  You can go on the internet and search caller ID spoofing and it will explain.  They ae looking for money under the guise of cancer.  You can never call them back.  DON'T FALL FOR THIS, DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.  You can even look up this "charity" and there are so many complaints it is not funny.  The profess themselves as this charity but in fact not one penny goes to this so called charity.  Check it out.  If you want to donate to a cancer fundraiser do the Ronald McDonald House or one of the real ones.

Same thing.  Constant annoying calls at mealtimes.  I want this to STOP!!!!!!

Got a call from this number today but didn't answer because the Caller ID said 'Orlando, FL' as the name and I don't know anyone from there...

Receive a hang-up call from 407-476-5544,an Orlando, FL area code.  Called the number back and was connected to a call center in Southern Indiana and spoke with a Mr. Billy Odell.  He informed me that they were a charitable organization based out of Holiday, FL called Kid's Wish Network.

I asked for an address to their corporate office and was informed it was:

Holiday, FL 34691

prank call or telemarketer

called landline and left no voice message...that number was on my caller id so I tried calling back and sounded like telemarketer....so click...hung up.

"Thank You" ?

How annoying to be in the middle of dinner and get some suspicious wiseguy calling my landline.
Unsure of who this is or what they want.

I answered the number.  The lady called me by my first name and said that they were collecting money for Kids Wish Network.  I told her I did this through my church, and she kept on  and on, I just said I'll pass and
hung up.

Got 2 on August 26th from 407-476-5544.  Did not leave a msg as I did not answer.

just another as*hole bothering people.  be rude/ get even.

I've gotten multiple calls from this number in the past two days.  The caller ID shows "Thank You" as the caller name.  They never leave a message.

I have an unpublished number and am on the federal and state do not call lists.

I answered, had to say hello twice, she asked for me by name, I asked who is this, she said something about "Kid's Wish Network" - I told her to s*** my **** then blew an air horn into the phone.

Since I have started doing this with this type of caller - rather than ignoring and have them continue to call - I don't get called again by that particular "company."

It works every. single. time. regardless of number, company, scam, whatever.  Plus it is satisfying as f***!

This is an annoying group called Children's Network.

They are from a charity, the Children's Network, they have not stopped until I finally picked up today. I informed the woman that I was unaware of this charity and that we give all that we can to help our Church and prefer to make donations to local charities, she was pushy, almost rude, until I finally had to say "Thank you for your call" and hang up.

This number calls at least twice a day. Has been doing so for a couple weeks now. The caller ID always says Thank You. If we answer, there's just dead silence for a few seconds, then they hang up.

We're getting pretty sick of it. I've heard the calls are based from Orlando, Fla. Does anyone know what they want? Don't tell me somebody's getting paid to prank call.

This number has called several times a day for a few weeks now. They never talk when we answer, just hang up after a few seconds of quiet. The Caller ID always says Thank You.
I'm not sure how to block numbers... but we'd be blocking all the time because we get spam calls a lot, from various groups.
I don't get what these people think is so awesome about prank calls several times a day. If they're wanting to sell something - FAIL.

We get 4 or 5 calls from this number every day. Caller ID says Orlando FL and the phone #. We don't answer just let it go to voicemail. My husband says it's a computer on rotation - I hope it crashes.

I get these calls from 407-476-5544...Orlando, FL is what caller ID says. I don't answer. I usually get another call from another number, a cloned number showing a phone number from my area. But I won't answer those, either. After they hang up, I call the number back, and they are not in service. I think it's a septic chemical company. They've done this to me before.

keep getting a thank you, even at 12:30 am

They call constantly. Today someone was actually on the other end, he asked for my husband who wasn't home. He said he didn't have a message for him, when I asked him if he wanted to leave one. The man sounded depressed, which is why I searched to see who called. I guess the guy just hates his job.

I receive calls from 407-476-5544, in which the phone rings, but no one is one the line when I answer.  It has occurred many times and is just annoying/harrassing.

Received a call from this same number on July 4th.  Nothing....  Caller ID shows: Thank You    Obviously spam, they left no message on answering machine...

I just recieved a call from this number however it was a not too stable neighbor calling and they left a message.  Not too sure why this showed up as when my answering service gave me the info they gave me the neighbors actual number.???  Maybe it is a secret number crazy people use when they want to trick you into answering the phone!!!  Probably one of those things we will never know/want to know or understand.

Caller ID says Thank You.  I do not pick up the call and they do not leave a message.  It is irritating since they have called several times including on a Sunday.  These are most disturbing since the phone is ringing constantly.  I wish they would stop.
