Ask them what % goes to the charity...usually they say it's 10%...they should be ashamed!!!

Why would a FL number solicit in PA ???
Maybe a phony charity

Called our number, asked for me by name then said, "Oh we're calling for any of you".  Another "charitable" asking for $$.

We receive calls from this number at least 4-5 times per week.   They do not leave any messages on our machine.  But if we answer,  they say their are collecting donations for the families of State Troopers.     I made one donation about 2 years ago, and they have continued to call NON STOP.   I have asked that they remove my name from their calling list,  but they continue to call.  Also,  they are extremely rude.    The last caller asked me  "Don't you want to help the families of state troopers that are there to protect you?"     The caller just goes on and on,  until I finally have to hang up.    If I see this number on caller ID,  I no longer pick it up.   I am supportive of our State Troopers.  But my donations will be made locally from now on.  

Recieved a call on 1/18/2014 @7:35pm asking for a donation for the fire department. I asked for his name and he said James Jones (voice like RoboCop) and he said he works for a telemarketing called Area Services. I told him not to call again and he said he would take me off there list but it would take 72 hours.
The funny thing is he called 3:48 pm today for donations for the police department and the police union under phone number1-614-407-5642.
