UNKNOWN NUMBER
my verizon hell 2013-03-30 22:21:38 Unknown
IN late January I made a complaint to the Verizon Corp regarding one of their 3rd party telemarketer. The telemarketer stated I would pay for this. Since then I receive somewhere between 120-150 calls a day on my cell phone. Conversations with Verizon were useless and most often they just laughed. I know make a monthly record of these calls, and post.. I also complete the FCC Complaint logs......do not know if this will help, since I am on the NO NOT CALL List. But I will continue. BTW the calls start at 0500 and go on until 2300 each day.

I dont know who called but if it is those people calling again about schools I am going to let them have it,it has to be a computer message because it is the same guy all of the time from different areas of the world, they are not getting the message and I told them not to call here and they still bother me,
Rick 2013-03-16 00:01:31 Unknown
Just call them and ask them to remove your number from their phone list. I had to do the same.

Just contact the National Do Not Call Registry and entered my phone number again. They warn again SCAMMERS giving you numbers to call to prevent these types of calls. DO NOT CALL groups such as "MR NUMBER" as it may be a scam which will enter you number and any other information into their database.

By any chance did you respond to a survey from WalMart because I did thinking I would be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 gift card and now I get calls from all over the country. I have tried to contact WalMart about this, but can't get anywhere. It is a miserable trick they have played on a lot of people. Don't know if that is how you got on their list, but think about something you may have entered. Good luck~

In the last 3 days I have been bombarded by call from this number. I never pick up the phone unless they leave a message. They always just hang up. My phone number is unlisted and I'm on the no call registry.

Within the last day or so, my private/unpublished cellphone number has been bombarded by numerous other Verified SPAM calls; i.e., 507-540-0434, 410-844-5580, 417-800-2303, 607-203-5527, 202-407-6432, 571-441-0131, and now 407-476-5608...sheesh! These calls are no doubt originating from the same call center/'robo caller', as it?s just too coincidental. Also, many of these appear to be Verizon numbers originating out of the eastern half of the USA?
The fact that I've been recently receiving a lot of these types of calls from various numbers throughout the eastern half of the USA, has led me to believe that either some ?scumbag? has ?cracked? my cellphone provider?s database or that my cellphone provider (or a 'mole' within that organization) has no doubt added my number to a 'Verified Active Phone Number' list and has then sold my number to one of their call center clients in order to circulate some additional revenue?
I religiously do not answer/have not ever answered calls from numbers not listed within my phone's 'Contact List', but instead, I add them as a Verified SPAMMER (sans ring tone) to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully and eventually drop my number from their "Let's See Who We Can Try To SCAM Today" list; however, they'll just no doubt use a different/new number the next time. Heck, I'm already up to sixteen pages of Verified SPAMMERs.
You know these ?call center criminals?, they're the ones using the (everyday American) first name (moniker/alias) such as Andrew, Amy, Ann, Andy, Steve, Sam, Sylvia, Susan, Tom, Theresa, Mike, Mary, Bob, Bill, or whomever 'running' a 'Gift Card' Scam, the ?Home Loan Modification? SCAM, a 'phony (generic) Survey' SCAM, the usual ?Home Security? SCAM, the well-known 'Cruise Line' SCAM, the 'bogus Political Survey' SCAM, the highly illegal ?Microsoft Windows Security Specialist? SCAM, somebody claiming to have legal authority and is with some sort of attorney's office, somebody pretending to be a process server (who will never call you - BTW), etc.
In addition, I never respond to nor return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these Spammers / Spoofers / Phishers / Scammers 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the calls only shows them that you are in fact a 'live' number. Their only intent is to illegally ascertain your personal info for their own dubious purposes and nothing more! They?re nothing more than 'Grifters' (aka Con Artists/SCAMMERS) and should be treated as the criminals that they are!

I attempted, several times, to speak with this caller....they do not reply and when I let it ring through to voice mail, no message.
They must be aliens or something stupid like that
Leslie 2013-03-07 18:29:47 Unknown
If the calls are on your cell phone, "Mr. Number" is an awesome app to download. I use it to block entire area codes to my cellphone from these jacka**es. They will eventually move on and call from a different area so I still get calls, but a whole lot less than I used to.
