Male caller from 2 counties away. First thing he said was, " This call is being recorded for your protection" Then, Stated he was with " the police and to not hang up." I listened to the speil for a minute to realize that he was soliciting for money for a monument for deceased police officers. I hung up and call blocked from future calls. The Caller ID was altered to hide the identity of the caller-It said "Orlando". That's just not right.

Blocked caller. Came up Unknown on my phone. Did not answer and immediately blocked it. If it were legit it would have a name.

They just called - and broke the LAW - the male moron - "hello are you there " NO TELEMARKET - charity or no charity - is allowed to leave any kind voicemail message. They are suppose to immediately hang up when there is any indication that there is a voicemail. AND they sure as sh*t are suppose to hang up when the voicemail states - you have reached xxx-xxx-xxxx and please record your message.
ANY LEGIT CHARITY WOULD FOR STARTERS -
telemarket calls to generate funds
would not have phone numbers that do not show the name of their charity

Florida State Troopers soliciting us - since they are a charity they don't honor the do not call list!!
