I got a call at 8pm tonight. They left a message saying if I did not call them back tonight that they wished me luck. This message was left on my voice mail. I always ask for paper work and I told one that I was not working and his commment was well thats no excuse. When I asked for paper work he said that I would see it in court. Here is a thought us Amercians who are getting scamed by them should do the same to them I wonder what would happen if the shoe was on the other foot?

Called my cell over 10 times today and my work at least 3....leaving messages that they are going to come arrest me on Thursday if I don't call them back today.  They had the name of my work/home address/last 4 of my social....all information that could have been stolen from somewhere!  I was not a part of that TARGET security breach, so I am frightened as to what has been breached now!!  It's unsettling to have them call you and tell you they know where you live and that they will arrest on on Thursday!  When you call the number back the answer "this is a law firm"....really?!  How do these people live with themselves!

They called my work and cell today. This man with a heavy Indian accent named Calvin said that they were going to arrest me Thursday and detain me until next Tuesday. I asked him to give me the info as to when I supposedly accepted the loan and he kept yelling that I should know. Whenever I asked for info he kept saying that I know everything already. I called the police stations in the area to check if there was a warrant for my arrest and they said that it is a scam. That I'm not the first person to call them with he same story. I didn't fall for their scam, I feel bad for those who do. These people need to stop. It's one thing to call my cell, but to harass me at work is crossing the line.

I cannot take this much longer. Got in a screaming match with the idiot on the other end, when he left a message earlier today he was with the IRS this time some law firm in FL. Get your lies straight. My call blocker on my cell has 50+ numbers blocked and I am not sure how much longer I can hold out before I change my number. I would love to know where they got my number I never applied for a payday loan or car loan online

This guy called on my cell telling me they are starting procedures in court for a paydayloan, which no one applied for.
He had family names and stuff.  You can hardly understand him because of his heavy Indian like accent.
Not a clue how he got my stuff.

When you apply for online payday loans, typically lenders will sell your phone number and other personal information to 3rd party websites and/or companies. Unfortunately some of those companies are not legit. In this case you receive a call from a person with a foreign accent either asking you are you still interested in a payday loan -or- with this number above stating that you have an unpaid loan that requires your immediate attention. I have been left numerous voice messages stating that I or my attorney need to give them a call back ASAP and if I don't all he could do was wish me good luck! Know your rights as a consumer. You cannot be jailed/imprisoned for having outstanding loan. Once your loan has defaulted and the actual loan company has attempted to collect any money owed. If they are unsuccessful, the debt is then sold to a third party collection agency who will start contacting you to collect the debt from the orginator of the loan. If this method does not work, an outstanding judgement or chargeoff will be placed on your credit and now it is up to you to contact them to work out paying off your outstanding debt. Do not believe these people, the police will not show up your door. The thing you can do is report them to the police. My husband and I had to basically harass them and let them know that the next time they call, we were going to report them to the local law enforcement. They never called again. Problem solved..

Another one of these heavily accented scammers! They always claimed to have some very American sounding names like Mark Johnson. Phony law office, charges being filed for defaulted loan. I feel sorry for people who fall for these scammers. First time I got one it scared me to death. Always has something to do with Online Loans. I  do not answer phone if number not familiar and check it on Internet, leave comments so others do not fall for it

They are calling my place of employment, threatening me with being served or picked up at my place of work, and could spent up to 30 days in jail.    They said it is because I didn't pay a debt.  I stated that I did not accept a payday loan from the company they represent.  Then, they backtracked and stated that there was a cancellation fee if I did not accept the loan.  If I dont want it to go to curt, I would have to pay 175.  Otherwise charges of over 2000 would be filed against me.  I spoke to a Ryan Gaines, and to a John Marshall.  Both of these people had strong Indian accents as well.

I asked them to provide documentation in writing, and they stated that the only way to give me anything in writing was if they forward the claim along to the state I live in.

They are using scare tactics to attempt to extort money from people who have applied for a payday loan online.

I asked for the caller's name and physical address. Hilarious!  Obviously east Indian accent, name was Calvin Smith, so asked for his physical address, as he claimed to be with a law office. He gave me 1154 South Canoe Creek Road, Kenansville, FL. Checked the address and it is the Osceola Library System in Kenansville. Ask their name, their physical address so your attorney can send a cease and desist.

I recieved a call from this place today on my work phone telling me that I had a loan through CashAmerica and that I haven't paid on any of the principle.  And because I haven't paid, they are going to sue me and have a warrant out for my arrest and I will spend the next 6 days in jail until I go before a judge.  I applied online for a payday loan that I ended up not needing and I never accepted any loans that were offered to me.  I asked about the place and they just kept saying that I owed money and they told me to go to walmart and get a green dot money tag, put the money on that and call them back.  I called the places I do have a payday loan through and they not only told me it was a scam, but also to ask them about the original loan information.  They called back later and wanted me to pay and when I told them I called the places I have a loan through and they said it was scam and they needed to provide more information about the loan.  This place got upset and told me they were filing the lawsuit against me and hung up.  Then 15 minutes later I get call from an unknown # and I was told it was someone from the LAPD and there was a warrant for my arrest issued.  When I tried telling them about this company scamming people, this guy hung up on me.  I called my local police department and they just advised either not talking to them or hanging up on them.

My husband and I put in for a loan online and a person named " John Smith" with an indian accent calls and states that my husband was given a loan and he had not paid on it. In reality there was never a loaned accepted on our behave. Smith stated that he was with CashAmerica and that my husband was being  sued and the court date was set for the following thursday. All lies!. I called the number back and a male subject answered the the phone and stated that if John Smith did not pick up he would call me back on the number that I was calling from. I am waiting for the call to come back. I keep all emails, letters and reciepts to all money transactions. I can't wait to speak with JOHN SMITH!
