Received a call today from a 407 574 1753.....a little different in the ending #'s but it began automated asking about credit card info then swithched to a live rep, when I asked the clearly indian woman who she was looking for she SAT quietly asking me to hold & then .....CLICK!
When I called back it was a VERY urban sounding guy's voicemail that I was continuously forwarded too.....authorities have already been contacted on their attempt to obtain credit info that I don't even have.....smh! My feeling: get a job that doesn't require CRIME!

Also same as Tiffany. 6 times in the last 4 weeks.

This number calls me several times a day and doesn't speak.  How do I block them from calling?

I have read Andrea and her husband's post. I really do believe that someone you may have had an aquaintence with may have been using your number to run all sorts of scams (ie:CHRISTINE P COLEMAN MAYO?) She is my "Significant Other"  EX-WIFE and we know she has TRIED these types of scams on others all across the country!
If anyone who has received calls like this should report to phone company.

Caller calls 2 or 3 times a week and hangs up as soon as I answer.
Have no idea who it is and when I call them back - " the mail box is full" is what you get

I would ask yourselves, do I suscribe to Vonage? If you do, call them.

Recieved multiple calls from this number. Told I was on dont call list and I was going to report them. I did. Now the number 305-479-2657 calls and hangs up on us 5-10 times a day. they are in some way related. the government needs to step in and fine this company. This is harassment. will try the suggestion avoid for not answering.

Follow-up to 7/2 post:  Even after letting the gal ramble for a couple of minutes and then hanging up on her, they continue to call.  My wife has talked to them at least once and said we weren't interested.  I guess the numbers just go back into a big bucket where the next poor b*****d telemarketer - paid on commission - gives it his/her best shot.

My sympathies to the real Andrea Currence.

I know the name of the company who has enabled all of this to occur but do not want to publically name them just in case I am incorrect (I do not think I am). Perhaps you all use the same VOIP company for your home phone. If so, that is the answer. We have been dealing with their customer service with little progress.
Again I am sorry this is happening to all of you, but at least your name and personal information is not all over the web in a negative light and you have not had to spend countless hours trying to resolve this issue with no notable result. This has been dreadful for us, but there is a common denominator ......

I've been receiving this call for several days,, maybe weeks now.  I feel really sorry for Andrea if she indeed is not the person doing this.. This is identity theft and there should not be any way possible to have two of the same numbers in existence.  Legitimate phone companies work hard to make sure this doesn?t happen.  But it sounds like we have some scam phone companies popping up.  If our gov is allowing technology like this to exist then we all will be effected one way or another.  Keeps this thread going and maybe we?ll find out who this company is and send them back to china in a hand backet?..

Andrea, Sorry to hear your the focus of all this.

The rest of you, The phone company has a privacy manager service which includes a number/call blocking feature.  Other then that, you obviously have caller I.D. Try ignoring the calls. I screen all the time. They can't scam you if you don't pick-up.

This number called my house 37 times within a fifteen minute timespan. Each time I answered, there was no one on the other end of the line. This is an invasion of my privacy and is harassment without provocation. I feel that we should be able to pursue some type of legal action against these people for I am also on the Do Not Call Registry. I have done extensive research into this corporation and its founder and as of yet have been unable to locate a contact number for them.

I am sitting here reading this and who calls, Andrea Currence!  I've reported this # to donotcall.gov.

When I answered I heard a young gentleman in conversation saying something about angry chairs(didn't make sense, but that is what it sounded like).  I then said, "angry chairs", he laughed and hung up.  I tried calling this number back to no avail.

We have received several calls on our cell phone in the past 2 weeks.  Nobody is there & they leave no message.  Very annoying.  We are also on the do not call registry...

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day for a few weeks now.  Usually no one is there, but today a man asked me if "Mr. or Mrs. Right was home."  I told him that he had the wrong numer and he said oh is Mr. or Mrs. Wrong home?"  I again told him that it was not the correct number, and he told me "Mam, I am just trying to see if the Right or Wrong family is there?" (He was laughing now) I told him not to call this number again and he told me to relax it is just a joke.

Got a call from a male, answered with hello.. he said hello Mr. xxxx.. I said hello again, he said hello...  there was a pause.. I said hello, he says hello..  I said what do you want?  he then says to me "your an a$$hole" and hangs up.   Looked on the internet and found this site.
I guess they wont be getting any business.

Gentleman called, asking for either me or my husband by name.  I identifed myself.  He said he was calling from Speciality Travel in florida, then asked if we had recently won a vacation that we either hadn't entirely completed, or hadn't taken at all.  "No".  He than asked if we had recently attended a time share seminar.  "No".  He thanked me for my time, and that was it.

Very odd.

Enough calls... This person calls me more then my mom. Talks a lot less tho.

I have been recently approved for disability - I cannot believe that an attorney or judge would sell such information  - Andrea Currence must be able to freely acess pending public records - information you or I would have to pay for in order to access.

I have been getting calls from this number for two days now, and no one speaks if i answer.  I have been ignoring the calls but they keep coming.  Isn't there something we can do?

ATTN: Hello. I am Stephen Currence, the husband of Andrea. If you read her post above you can see this is a phone company issue. We have repeatedly tried to fix this issue as we ported our number to a new carrier and the old phone company gave out the ported number again, thus having two exact same numbers on two different carriers. Either you received calls from this new number holder or it could have been ?ghost? calls caused by havoc wreaked in the system by two numbers existing at the same time.
We understand about the inconvenience this has caused others, but Andrea is the victim here. We don't know anything about this "Specialty Travel" I'm guessing this is who the carrier handed out the number to whilst still leaving my wife's name on as the caller ID.

Background Summary for Andrea Currence at 1540 Solway Ct. Apopka, FL. I was wondering if anyone had ever done AACTM or Wyndham Rewards? I thinking maybe this was the way they got our number. She also calls people whose phone numbers are on a DO NOT CALL LIST. She apparently is trying to scam people into buying something.

I've been receiving calls from 1-407-574-2306 for a week, no one answers.  When I call back..no one answers then either.

They keep calling our house too. Everytime we answer the phone they just sit there, too. There has to be something we can do about this. If you are on the do not call list, isn't it our right to bring a lawsuit against them. I think it is like $500 for every Business that keeps calling when you have already told them to take you off their call list & they don't. I will check farther into this & see what I can find. My phone says the caller is Andrea Currence phone# 407-574-2306.

have had 8 phonecalls from andrea currence I am in oregon and do not belong to any travel club , same thing when i answer nothing on the other end when you try to call 407 574 2306 back it says the no is no longer in service, this is definitely some scam in the making, I for sure will offer no personal info but wish i knew how to make the calls stop, it is really bothersome.

i have emailed a person I located in Fl on the internet. She says her phone # was redistributed by Vonage phone service. She has heard of the calls made with her name and number and has contacted Vonage to try to fix the problem. She says she is also a victim of the person using her name to make annoying calls.
So far this is all I have to go on. There are more people with the name in Fl...so have to go by addresses..there is no phone listed at the address I have found. She returned my email right away, so I sorta believe her.
