Got a call from A1 Vacation Referrals stating that they had a buyer for my timeshare and that they had a B rating from the BBB. Can't find their name or a BBB listing for them anywhere. Their # is 800-590-6850. The caller ID # 407-574-4619 doesn't exist.

I did quite a bit of research trying to find out if A1 Vacation Resales (aka A1 Marketing Unlimited) was a scam or not.
They said they had a buyer for my timeshare at approximately 9X market value.  Ding, first clue.
I plugged the address into Google Maps and then used street view (drag the little orange man onto the map).  The address on New York Ave in Deland FL does not have a sign on the building.  According to Sarah W. (employee), that is the A1 address.  The people at Best Auto Apholstery (next door neighbor to A1) have never heard of them.  Ding.
They are not accredited with the Central Florida BBB because they haven't paid their BBB membership in years.  In defense of A1, many companies often stop paying annual dues because they are expensive and don't offer much in return.  That said, the BBB gives A1 a "B" rating in one section and an "F" rating in another.
I asked to call the Title Company to speak to the closer.  Not an option.  Ding
I asked to send my $1,750 fee (Title, Listing, bla, bla) directly to the Title Company.  Not an option.  Ding.
I asked to review the contract in advance of payment.  Not an option.  Ding.
My attorney offered them an "Eternal Non-Disclosure, Non-Circumvention Agreement" that automatically places a $2,000 lien on my timeshare.  If I ever sell my timeshare to the buyer (or any of the buyers affiliates), the title company will find this lien and pay A1 (property tax and first mortgage holder are always first in line before lien holders) before any funds are dispersed to the seller (me).  Ding.
Although this doesn't pass the thumb test, I am currently continuing the conversation until they stop calling.  The saga continues.......
