Hello there all, this number that you are referring to is owned by a Google Voice Subscriber. I live in Canada and got it on my Roger's Cell phone today and when I got home well I called it and it told me that the "Google Voice Subscriber", isn't there and leave a message. So I did and told them to stop calling me and everybody else. :) But that is where it's comming from. Well that's what the answering system said.

They've called my number (DID) here at work 5 times in the span of 3 minutes. I called the number back and got a recording saying "..If you want to be removed from the list, just hang up we've already recorded your number and will delete it.."  Otherwise "..call 1-888-796-7643 to claim your prize. Calling the toll-free number you get an auto attendant greeting that "Your party is not answering. Please try your call again later."

Meant to add to last message that your number *is* not going to be removed simply because you got his voicemail.

I got the same phone call in Newfoundland...nothing but dead air, sure to be a scam of some sort.

Complete and utter rubbish telemarketing crap. Block it if you have the features available with your telco or through your services or phone.

My telephone number is only a few days old (just moved), and i pay extra to have it unlisted. I have never bought anything of the internet, or given my phone number to anybody besides work. Why am i getting bothered with this crap??

Another Newfoundlander here! :) Living in St. John's and had a couple of calls from that number today...said hello and waited and they eventually hung up...I was hoping it was some ex-girlfriend stalking me! LOL! Now I learn it was just a telemarketer...oh well... :)

Received a call from 407-588-7840 claiming I had won a trip to Mexico.  To claim the prize all I had to do was give them my credit card number.  What a scam:(

Nanaimo, BC - Got called by this number on my fax line. Did not answer it and they did not leave a message or send a fax. Probably scammers.
