this is a scam.  he asked for my age and occuptation.  when I declined to tell him that information he said, "well that's weird!" and hung up on me.

Call comes in, but no one is there when I answer and then it disconnects. I have enrolled in the Do Not Call List.

I had the same thing, and they DID ask for my credit card or debit card number. I told them I only used cash - which isn't true - and she said "oh, okay, well that's all the questions I have for you today!" and hung up on me.
Huge scam, don't give them any info and do not answer the calls.

This number calls me every other day with a scam.

let all get together and put a stop to this and complane to the cops in our sates and fl as well we cant keep letting this jerk get away with this he or she has to be put in jail and lose there houses and cars the law is to keep us safe and this person is breaking that law my real name is bill bergitzer

Got three calls in 5 hours.  I finally answered one to ask them to stop calling, and as soon as I said hello an automated machine said "goodbye."

I was stupid and followed the links to the text message I got from this number saying I won a Target gift card for $1,000.  I know better than to follow such links, but my curiousity got the best of me.  They called my house phone today and confirmed my address and wanted to send me a bunch of magazines.  I asked to opt out of two of them that they said I would have to pay a little for.  I don't really want any of them.  I'm a little concerned that maybe I gave them too much info about myself.  (I did NOT give any credit card numbers.)

don't know who this is.  Probably some telemarketer.

Stop harassing me. I didn't sign up for and thing and stop trying to scam my info from me!

We just received a call from this man, Dale.  He asked for my husband by name, so I put him on the phone.  He asked my husband if we had 4 different credit cards and my husband said, "Yes, we do!".  No numbers were given, but he knew our address and said we would be entered into a sweepstake in January to win
1 Million dollars.  I told my husband to hang up, this is a scam !  We are on the do not call list !!

Reading earlier posts -- I got an email saying that I won a Target gift card, so it must be a marketing scam since I've had two calls from this number since yesterday.

Cease and deceast!

Every year your credit cards, banks and many other companies  send you a privacy notice.  Read that and carefully follow the instructions to opt out of 'sharing.'

I recently applied for a Discover card.  Now I know how this guy was able to get my information!  Thank you for the help!  
I recieved a call from this number twice within the same hour.  Both times I did not answer.  A message was left and the man on the message had thought he was talking to a live connection.  He used my first name, told me to speak up, he couldn't hear me, then said he knew I was there because his phone said we were connected (duh, you were talking to my voicemail) and then voice tone changed to nasty sarcastic and he said he would talk to me eventually.  I deleted the voicemail, but saved the number to say DO NOT ANSWER since we do not have the ability to block these horrible people.
If you know anyone interested in a credit card or prepaid card, please tell them to avoid Discover!  There are definately consequenses.

Continue to call my cell phone. I don't answer. I have a pay as you go cell phone and if I answer it costs me money. Pain in the neck to have the phone ringing all day. If I forget and answer it I lose minutes. Scum bags. NEVER buy anything or give ANY information to someone who calls you. Tell them you work for your State Department of Consumer Affairs!

Magazine wholesale house.. they get your phone number and name from credit card companies that sell your information..   I only use one credit card with my cell number and that would be Discover..  It really pisses me off when some idiot calls me, hangs up, i call back and they answer,, "is this Kirk"  What gives our credit card companies the right to sell our info???   Anyway, i have one less credit card....  i called Discover and cancelled out...  they insisted they have the right to sell my info... well im sending them a letter and copying the FTC, they they dont have the right and to purge my name and info from all of their files...    I guess Discover is really hard up for cheap cash..   :'(

Someone from this number just called my phone but I'm at work so wasn't able to answer, just took a restroom break to call the number back.  At first it was a recording then someone picked up the phone saying Hello Alisha, hello Alisha and I was like who is this, the girl said can you hear me and I told her yes and was wondering who she was because that was not my name, gave her my first name and she said that's who you called in as and I told her I didn't call her they called me and she said oh well I'm sorry then hung up, who are these people that keep calling my phone from strange 800#'s and numbers in the states and won't give you any of THEIR INFO but want yours...............be careful cause apparently they seem like they want your money, don't give in report them ASAP!!!!!

Got calls from this number 3 times. Didnt pick up the first 2 times. Picked up the third time, the guy was rude after telling him Im not interested in what he has to offer. Told him I will file a complaint to FTC, he got scared and said "Let's part as friends", then I hung up. I'm not your friend.

I have received repeated calls from this number, leaves no voice mail message.

I got a call from them this morning telling me i won a 250 gift card from bestbuy rewards and also ask for my address and phone number and where i work, i was on to them so i gave them some fake info (Age/DOB/Work Info), but they already had my name and address and at the end of the call they did ask for the cc exp date - when i told them i don't carry the card with me, they said are you afraid of using the card over the phone, can we call you back when you have the card - they were up to something for sure -

I got a call from this number a couple of days ago and the person said I won a $250 target gift card blah blah. They already had my address and phone number. I'm kind of scared about this, fortunately they didn't ask for any CC numbers, but I'm still worried. -_-
