These people called me several times a day for a week. They claimed to be affiliated with Worldmark/Wyndham Resorts, and offered to broker my timeshare. They made several false statements, specifically about federal laws requiring a $2000 up-front fee for transferring the deed. This costs $150 through WorldMark (we checked- Worldmark does not engage third-party brokers). When we asked about the federal law, and about the up-front fee, they happily hung up the phone.
On their website, "Todays Mexico Rentals" guarantees:
*No Commissions, No Closing Costs, No Hidden Costs, No Brokerage Costs
Beware.
