I Just got 2 text from them and I live in Port Angeles.  Didn't reply just erased.

I have been getting these texts evey monday for awhile now. call the phne number and it gives you an error message.

394113455@vtext.com  Call this #407-614-3803, right, should I cough and bend over ?

I got 3 text messages ... all the same ... on my cell.  I did NOT call and am reporting it to my bank and to the WA state attorney general's office.  Maybe I should also include the FBI.  If it is really a scammer ... they need to be stopped NOW!

What number or address did you forward Verizon With?

I got the same message as everyone else and checked here and found what everyone was saying and then 10 minutes later I got another text from same number with the same message but a different phone number to call. Yes I am through verizon and I am in Yakima County. I have forwarded both messages to Verizon.

same here.  I am in Maryland.  Of course it's a scam.

Got a text saying the same thing as everyone else while I was at work. Figured it was probably a scam since I know no one who uses vtext.com. I live in Pierce County and don't bank at Kitsap Credit Union, so I don't know where they got my number if that is the group it is targeted towards. So sick of stupid spam texts/calls!

Did Verizon do anything about the text?

Got a "Call 407-614-3803 your attention is required" from vtext as well.  I'm from Baltimore, Maryland.

Very sketchy recording asking for personal banking information.

I just got a text saying "Call 407-614-3803 your attention is required". I'm so glad people post on this site so we can all avoid these scams!

I live nowhere near Kitsap county, and I got this message just now. Did a search, found this page, deleting text. I just thought I'd mention it's not just Kitsap residents.

my wife and I received this same text I did on the 10th of december and then she received it today the 11th.  I sent the text to verizon and the answer to someone else's comment no it's not the phone I have a different phone but we do have verizon.

I've had 2 texts from them, one signed Kitsap CU and one not signed; my wife had one signed Quimper. The phone number is registered to a company named CONVERT2MEDIA LLC, 2910 Maguire Rd Suite 2010, Ocoee FL 34761. It's listed as an "advertising agency". The company may be innocent, because the scammers may have spoofed its phone number. I reported the details to the Florida Attorney General's Office. Warning banner is now up on the Kitsap CU website, but it's probably not their fault.

I got the message about the credit union and I have never had a Kitsap Credit Union account so I think it's just a message being spammed to everyone with a phone number registered in Kitsap, rather than bank information being leaked.

If you are using Verizon service, forward the text to phishing@verizonwireless.com.  They will pursue this and eliminate it If enough people report it.

If you have a different carrier, report it to them as well...

Yeah - I know that they wouldn't ask for that kind of information; that's why I ignored the text :)

Received a text from 4076143808 stating that my attention is required. I did not call back...

AWESOME these people should be fined..........

Kitsap Credit Union will never ask this kind of information over the phone. This scam has been hitting all over the North West.

just received 2nd text this week!  "Hello! Please call 407-614-3803 your attention is required. KITSAP-C.U.!"  What do these people have against Kitsap County?  Twice received, twice deleted with no comment!

Second text in two days. Saw something on the news about this last night. There is a lawsuit being filed because it is a $500 fine per text sent by the company.
