I am not sure that my call came from this number as I do not have caller ID.  My friends are still receiving these really annoying calls on their cell phones, land lines and business lines.

I called the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture's Office, Consumer Assistance Center.  They advised me that the callers are a 'bunch of criminals' and there is nothing they can do to stop these calls.  

We can find Osama Bin Laden but we can't find out who this ' bunch of criminals' is and put a stop to their calls? Give me a break

My friends and I have received numerous calls from Public Energy Center in the past several months.  The last call I received was Jan. 24, 2011.  I pressed one and spoke with a representative who kept insisting that I make an appointment.  I stated that I was not interested and wanted them not to ever call my number again.  She kept on saying that I needed their service and that it was free.  I asked her what part of no she did not understand and she just kept saying that they were not selling anything and I needed to make an appointment.  I got quite angry which did no good.  I think this certainly is harrassment and don't know what can be done about it.  There is no such company listed on "Swtichboard.com".  I threatened to call the police and she said they are immune to the "no call list" and kept on insisting I needed to make an appointment for their free service.  I am sick and tired of this, as are my friends.

I have been getting numerous calls from this company using different phone numbers, but they all start with the same message.  The advise "Don't Hang up, this is not a solicitation" and then imply that they are contracted with Florida Power, Progress Energy, [one other] in order to help homeowners to get Federal dollars to fix the house.  I spoke with Helen who spoke the name of the company so quick that I did not get it and had to have her repeat it twice.  She answered that the name of the company is "Public Energy Center", however this name does not appear when I googled it.  When I told Helen that I was not interested in whatever they were selling (she claims that they are not selling anything) and asked her to remove my number from the list she just hung up on me.

when you ask for a supervisor they hang up on you.

Telemarketer for "Energy Savings for homes".  Calling our business repeatedly even after we selected the opt out from their message.  Selected option on one of their calls to talk to someone...got the telemarketing spiel and then when explaining we had opted out they HUNG UP without a word!
