they call everyday and i tell them to put me on the do not call list and they never stop..

The call came in while I was on the phone. They did not leave a message. I had ignored the call waiting, but I called them back when I finished my first call.  Received a "this number is not in service" message.

I received a recorded call this morning. They told me that I can get lower interest rates on my credit cards.

I pressed "1" and waited for an attendant. As soon as I heard from someone I immediately asked for:

Name of caller: Melissa
Company: Card Services
Location: Tempe, Arizona (but the call ID said Winter Park, FL)

As soon as I told them I was on the do not call they hung up on me.

did not leave a message.  Believe it to be junk calls.  I'm on DoNotCall but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Picked up the phone and got the recorded "an important message on your credit card debt consolidation"...blah.  Every time I press "1" to talk to an agent, I tell them I am on the do-not-call list.  They just then hang up without saying a word.  Then I get calls again from them a few days later.

No message.  Called number back and got an error message.

SORRY FOR THAT INCONVENIENCE THAT IS MY NAME AND ADDRESS BUT I HAVE NOT HAVE THAT NUMBER FOR MORE THAN 7 YEARS PLEASE GET MY NAME OUT OFF YOUR LIST. THANK YOU

this very annoying number keeps calling my house to offer a lower interest rate on credit cards -which i don't even have- and when i stay on the line to speak to someone they hang up the minute i ask them to stop calling.  it's very frustrating.  it's such an invasion of privacy!!! i wish someone could make them stop!!

I called FCC and was told the more complaints they get the more likley they can find out who these people are. If you haven't filed a complaint please do it. I get 2-3 calls a day from these people. They also show up our of area.

Call from 407-678-3247 and Out of Area saying " This is our lasr atempt to help lower your intrest rate on your credit card. They alway hang up after this message. Who can I call the FTC?

I have been getting calls from 407-678-3247 and Out of Area for a few months. They start out saying "This is your last chance to reduce your credit card intrest rate". I tried calling them back but the number was not real. They hang up when I answer my home phone. I am worried that they are using my phone number as a way to get personal info. I don't know who I need to repot this to.

They called my phone with a recorded message about a final notice on lowering my interest rates. It said to dial 1 to talk to someone about it. I clicked 1 so I would tell them to take me off the calling list. A man picked up and asked me if I owed $4,000 in credit card debt. I said no, many people live here who are you calling for? He hung up on me. When I called back it said the number was disconnected.

I receive calls from these people a couple of times a day.  They say that they are from Account Services and that Equifax gave them my information.  I need these calls to spot.  The person jason Lewis called me the "B" word before hanging up on me.

Don't answer these calls! My mom is now a victim of identity theft because she decided to answer and press 1 to get her interest rates lowered on her credit card accounts. We are on the federal "do not call" list and these scam artists can still get through to our phone lines.  The caller id list it as a call coming from Florida.  We normally hang up or ignore these 3x a day calls, but my mother being in a desperate situation decided to see what they had to offer the other day.  A representative came on the line referred to the company as "debt solutions" explained, and convinced my mom to hear more about it. The lady stated that they are a non-profit organization and they dont make any money off their customers.  If they are unable to save you at least $2500 in interest a year there wouldnt be a charge for their services, but if they were able help her save they would charge a fee of $900. Throughout the call they maintained professionalism and continued to state that they were recording the conversations.  (Don't let this fool you.)  My mom agreed to hear more about it, but insisted that she didn't agree to any charge unless she gave them the okay to follow thorugh.  She then transfered my mom to a differen't representative who began to gather her debt information.  She was able to convince my mom to give her credit card numbers, last four of ss#, etc.  They lady then picked the 2 best cards and began calling the companies with my mom on the line.  When she reached the first credit card co. she stated that she was representing my mom and was trying to "aggressively" lower her interest rates. Of course the credit card company obtained permission to speak with the 3rd party and then began verfiying my mother with the 3rd party on the line.  As a result they were able to gather even more of my mother's personal information, which is suppose to keep her secure.  This particular credit card company was unable to lower the apr on my mom's acct.  So the rep. placed my mom on hold again and began trying her other credit cards.  She asked my mom again for her full ss# this time.  My mom stated she didn't feel comfortable giving it out, the representave sweet talked her again with "fraud security talk" and "all her info. was safe" and was able to get the entire ss# out of her.  She placed my mom on hold again (3rd time)at this point my mom became suspicous and disconnected the call.  The lady continued to call back and would not stop.  She left a message stating that her name was "Laura" and the call was disconected.  She mentioned that she was able to get my mom approved for an hsbc card and she would be charged on her card by equity first. She said if there were any questions to call 1-866-533-0692.  When we call this # all we get is an automated message for customer care which directs us to leave a message.  When we call the phone numbers on caller id they are non working numbers.  Just yesterday my mom got an alert from the credit card company that they spoke to that day for a large purchase on her card.  Sure enough there was a fraudulant charge for $1000 on her card which was not authorized.  Not only did my mom's card get charged without her autorization she didnt recieve any services for the fee that was charged.  These con artists are taking advantage of desparate people who aren't able to comprehend.  My mom has been ill for the last couple years and they caught her at her weakest point claiming that they could help solve her problems when really they just created more problems that will never go away.

I pushed one to speak to a rep, started recording, a woman asked if I was ready to lower my interest rates, I informed her I was recording her, that I was on the NDNC list and that I will report to the FCC.  She spoke over me the whole time calling me by my name.  O-v-e-r pronouncing my name.  Unbelievable.  I am again reporting this to the FCC.

i continue to receive calls from 407-678-3247 saying they will lower my intrest rates on my credit cards. today i answered and ask the third person ive spoke with how to make this stop. the female(could'nt be considered a lady)that i spoke with said the only way to make the calls stop is to cancell all my credit cards. i told her i do not have any credit cards, she is the third person i've spoke with and i want the calls to stop. she replied with, has anyone ever told you that you don't always get what you want in life? i then ask her name and she said she had already said her name, if i did'nt remember that was my problem. the call want on another minute or two, a few choice words were exchanged,she called me a f****ng c*** and hung up. this is rediculous and neds to stop!i have called the # back and a recording says its not in service. i am registered with the national do not call. how can this continue? please help!!! thanks

I have received numerous calls from this number (on my home phone). They have never left a message. So I tried to call it back....the number is not in service...Odd.

I received a message from this number on 3/18/09 about the 'final courtesy call about your credit card...'  Yesterday, I received a fraudulent text message on my cell phone stating that my VISA card with a credit union in Utah had been blocked and to call 877-276-8416 to correct it.  (this is the fraud part)  I called from a different phone than my cell to figure it out (the one I just received this msg on).  They wanted me to key in my card number, which I didn't.  I called the credit union directly, only to find out it was fraud.  I wonder if they are related??

recorded message about my credit card - all my credit cards are paid up in full - these calls are annoying since they are calling my cell phone.
