On XFINITY Chat session with "Gaurav" and within a minute of the session going live I received TWO calls from this number before I added it to my rejected list.  I asked if it was Comcast calling me because I looked it up and he/she indicated it was not.  The response...

Gaurav: No, I did not call you.

Gaurav: I am here to provide you with excellent customer service today. Please be assured I will do my best to help you and I'm sure we can work together on your concern.

Gaurav: *****, I rely on my online access as well to manage my account and pay my bills, so I know how important it is to be able to login at all times. After we walk through this together, I can also share where you can find the same help on line.

Gaurav: You have reached the right person.

After I provided the last four digits of my ssn to verify the account he/she asked for 1-2 minutes then came back with...

Gaurav: I sincerely want to assist you with your issue, unfortunately we are experiencing some technical constraints at present. I would request you to chat back in an hour or call at 1800-XFINITY for assistance. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

(407) 712-1590 isn't comcast. It's scammers who got your information. They are phishing for more information. Change passwords and report this. Don't tell them anything.

Btw comcast had known about this for a long time and has done nothing.

These morons called me at 11:30 p.m. while I was chatting with a legitimate COMCAST Analyst.  I didn't even try to find out who it was; I just hit the "answer" key and "off" key back to back, then googled their number.  If they call me again, I'm gonna sic the Big Boys on 'em.  We're in Northern Virginia, right across the Potomac River from the FCC!

Was online with Comcast chat about an upgrade order emailed to me that I did not make.  This number called me twice while I was chatting online with Comcast.  Based on what others have said, this is probably Comcast.  The called ID says Florida.

Same scenario......but Comcast called me at 1:30AM ! Totally ridiculous!! My service was an "older" package and they were discontinuing it ....they put me on a plan that was twice what I had been paying......REALLY!.....this is what happens when businesses get big and have no competition, the consumer pays whatever big business prices...........I'm checking out AT&T after 25 years of Comcast.......

I was on the chat line with Comcast as well when this #407-712-1590 called three times back to back.  I asked the person I was speaking to are they calling me he said no.  However the chat line text on my side he said wasn't coming through clearly.  HUM.

The email has been down all day.  Very annoying and can't do any business.

Same thing happened to me! I hung up on her 3 times. She could not speak English well or type it. I dont bother with their cust serv anymore. I go to their satillite office. At least they speak English and my request is fully taken care of!

Similar to above.  On the computer with Comcast chat and this number called 7 times in a row.  I picked it up 3 times and no sound, nothing.  Called back several times only to get busy signal.  Not sure what or who but pretty sure related to comcast.

Comcast must be the most oppressive unprofessional company in the mainstream market place right now. However, if I want cable in my area I have to put up with their bush league tactics. This is a perfect example of how monopolies create horrible service situations for customers. After a move into a new house, an installation and added charges I unknowingly underpaid by bill one month, after years of service at more than $250 per month (premium package). They called six times in one day, each while I was involved in work meetings or appointments of some type, did not leave a message (which disallows me from handling the issue on my time), except for the time they left a "message" of someone typing on keys and chatting with their co-workers in the background for about 4 minutes. Obviously, the slouch working the phones wanted to be able to report to their boss that they'd had a conversation with me about the bill. I'm actively looking for an alternative to Comcast, or Xfinity, or whatever they want to be called (freakin' schizophrenic outfit).

I received a call from this number and a lady wanted to confirm my address and identity. I said not please transfer me to another department or someone that speak Spanish. after that she finished the call. I called to Comcast and said that this number is making a scam. so be careful !!!!

While on chat w/ customer service about my services not activating after a transfer this number called me. It was 1030pm my time which means it was after 1am in Florida, seriously? This number called 8 times over a 30 minute time period. I never answered. Why on earth would Comcast be calling me while I am on chat with their customer service (who could neither type nor comprehend basic English spelling or grammar and was never able to help). While the nice guy on the phone the next day was able to correct their error (when I called to transfer, the guy cancelled my equipment and account at the old address and never transferred them to the new address), finding out that this number was Comcast calling me while I was online trying to get help from them just makes it more irritating. AT&T Uverse may be getting my business in the near future!

Got calls from this number 4 times in a row and in intervals of 7 minutes, would not leave a message. I tried calling back and only got busy signals.

I had just been in an on-line chat with comcast about a problem with my email-looking at the other reports I realize now it was probably just comcast calling me with a survey or something.

I wish they would at least leave a message or identify themselves on caller ID.

I had to change my phone number two years ago and get a unlisted number because of a serious situation with a stalker......so when I get calls like this, I get scared.

I received a call from this number and it was only a call to verify my Comcast installation appointment. It was also during the daytime and a few hours prior to my appointment time. No big deal on my end.

Call from Comcast wanting to offer me something.  I did not answer the phone and they called me back 5 times in 30 minutes.  The last time they kept talking and talking on my message machine until I had to answer and tell them to STOP calling.  Do these people think I have nothing else to do but talk to them RIGHT now.
