If your phone carrier has call blocking then use it.

They keep harassing me and I too am on the do not call list. They have to stop calling me.
Stop calling me.

A pox on them. I do not buy ANYTHING from a telephone salesman....EVER. When is America going to stop letting these people intrude in our lives. They are pond scum.

I've gotten calls each afternoon for the past week. I ignore them, and there is no voice mail.

I get calls from this # from time to time. Just received one @ 2:21 on 8/21/13. Tend not to answer, but if I do, I hang up pretty quickly. More of an annoyance than anything

This is legitimate Hilton Hotel. I called the number after finding itbon the caller ID a few times. Press option 2 to be removed from the list. You will speak to a live person, but they do not take any other information then your number that you want them to stop calling.. Not every call is a scam.

I am getting 6 and 7 calls a day from this number. I answered once and I believe they said they were calling on behalf of Hilton Hotels. Even though I hung up on them, they continue to call. They are identified on caller id as "hgvc."

the caller from this number said he is from Hilton and offered some vacation plan for low price, but asked for credit card information. i think it is fraud. Do Hilton do marketing like this?

I have been called four or five times by (407) 722-3894, out of Orlando, FL. They leave voice mail messages inviting me to call back to learn about vacation specials. So I called back; selected #2, which is supposed to take you to their do-not-call list. I was on hold for 17 minutes while a pleasant voice kept repeating, "Thank you for holding. We will be with you as soon as a certified counselor is available."
How do I stop this nuissance?

I rec'd a call from this number on my cell during the day and ignored it because Caller ID only identified the call as coming from Florida (no business or person's name) - no message was left by the caller. I checked out this site and saw people saying this was from Hilton Hotels and also that they rang the number back and spoke to a human being to be removed. A call from this same number came to my home phone tonight. Caller ID says "Hilton". Because I read everything here on this site I answered the call. The gentleman asked for me by name, and introduced himself as 'Ron'. Before he could get wound up on his vacation speech, I politely asked that he remove my number from his list. He politely agreed to do so. I told him that I'm getting calls from Hilton on my cell phone, too, and asked that my cell number be removed from their list. He told me that he's only able to remove the number he was talking to me on (my home phone). He was very professional about this.
Here's something that is very noteworthy: I stayed at a Hampton Inn, which is a Hilton company, about 1 month ago.

I have gotten calls from 407 722 3894 Hilton. I got them on the phone today, they said my # would be taken off their list, could take 72 hours. We will see if it happens. I don't think the do not call list does any good, the telemarketers could care less.

The only good thing I can say about this caller is that when my phone "speaks" the name of the caller, it always makes me laugh. However, every time I answer the call, there is a click and I'm disconnected. It's from Hilton Grand Vacation Club (my research), probably soliciting for "free" vacations!

Received call from this number but did not recognize the number and did not answer. Called the number back - Hilton travel. Informed that this is a DNC number. Requested my number to be removed.

That was in 2007. I'm sure the TMs are shaking in their boots.
Oh wait no, now that I look closer it looks more like laughter.

A guy offering Hilton vacations called here to a cell phone number that I did not provide to Hilton honors program, so they are getting at least some numbers another way.

I've received a few calls lately but no messages. I always let unknown numbers go to voicemail and then google to see who it was. This one never leaves a message. Just another number to add to my Sprint reject list! That list gets a new number just about every day... LOL

six calls in the last three days. I picked up as I did a while back and there's an immediate disconnect.

Another call to my cell phone from this number at 7:29pm Pacific today, Aug 27 2012.
I think they left a voicemail.
I don't have unlimited calls/texts so this probably counts to my "minutes".

Call *60 to block the last number that dialed your phone--at least for landlines. Not sure about cells. This works for ATT customers but may also work for other phone companies. Hope this helps to save someone's sanity!
1. They call you.
2. You don't answer but know it's these scammers/unwanted calls.
3. Wait for the ringing to stop.
4. Pick up your phone and dial *60 just like you're making a regular call.
5. A pre-recorded voice says, "Selective Call Rejection is now active."
6. It only works for the LAST number that dialed you.
7. When they call you again, it says the (your) number cannot be dialed or is no longer in service! :)
*60 (call blocking / selective call rejection) is a service through my phone company, and the only downside I've found is that I can only block 20 numbers at a time. LOL But I can edit them online in my customer account, at least, so I just delete the oldest ones first, in hopes those guys have given up trying to call me.
I do this every time I get an unwanted call from a company with whom I don't associate!
Good luck, everyone! Hope this helps!

How can you say this is legit..If you are waiting to see if you are dropped from the list or scammed by pushing #2.
| Chris 2012-08-23 14:00:58 Unknown |
I too have been receiving. I called the number, pressed 2 and got a live person who said up to 72 hours to be removed....
