I have received several dozen calls from this company.  Being in sales myself, I am very polite and tell them no and please take me off the list.  That does not seem to work.  It is real annoying, how do you get them to stop calling.  Next time I am not going to be so nice!!

I went to a Marriott timeshare pitch over 5 years ago. I have to say, it was pretty sweet to stay in a condo that was bigger than my apartment in Manhattan. But now it is a marriage, and two jobs later and they are still stalking me, despite being on the do not call list! Do they ever give up?? I never answer.

Called on 06/12/2013 @ 04:11 PM Orlando, FL. Caller ID shows Dream World. No message left.
From various posts above including myself on April 5th, you can see the scammer has fraudulently used the names of 3 legitimate vacation companies in the timeshare business.

Who's There? states the caller was RCI International.

Fred w. states the caller was Interval International.

Hollywood states the caller was Marriott vacations.

Dream World is a scammer claiming to be one of these legitimate companies.

Never had a timeshare. Never will.

Despite my lack of timeshare use, these idiots, under many different phone numbers, call and call and call. For years now.

These people need to be locked up. They have no regard for the laws, or the Do Not Call List.

I don't mean one call or two - I mean 5-20 per week every week for years.

You can't afford to "pass out" LOL! If you passed out during the call it would save you tons of money!

on my caller id it said Dream World, they said just for answering the phone you can have a cruise for just 59.00 per person, and get credit points to be used for 18 months.  all they want is your credit card.  I told them I didn't have one, and hung up on them.  they are just scam artists that have been calling my house for months now.

Caller was from Orlando, FL. I got this info from my Optimum account. I disconnected my phone from the wall last week due to over 25 Spam calls in 7 hours time. So I unfortunately I have no caller ID from my phone to share.
Unlike "Who's There?", 3 posts above me. I would not advice anyone to fall for this scam. Hang on to your wallet and hang up if you made the mistake of answering the phone to begin with. The one hour of inconvenience is usually 3. On your vacation, they will use very high pressure sales including the use of your children to work against you.

This is the really funny part. Looking at the posts above me, each individual was obviously called from the same #. That's how you got to this page. Yet........

Who's There? states the caller was RCI International.

Fred w. states the caller was Interval International.

Hollywood states the caller was Marriott vacations.

These are 3 very large, legitimate Companies that compete with one another for your vacation dollars.

Do you seriously think things are so bad that 3 titans of the vacation industry are chipping in to share a phone line?

Think about and please put that credit card away. Never give your credit card info to anyone who calls you that you have no prior relationship with.

I received a call from them today.  They said they were from the Marriott and for their 56th anniversary were offering a 90% off vacation to Costa Rica, Florida and some other vacation spot all inclusive for $300 plus for 2 people.  The caller was very ignorant and unprofessional.  Marriott likes to sell the phone numbers of people who have been to their timeshare speils and didn't by.  Since visiting the Marriott a couple years ago I have received calls from many timeshare companies including but not limited to RCI, and Spinnaker Vacations.  All of their telemarketers are very unprofessional.  When they have called, I asked to speak to a manager and each time the caller has told me that they are the manager and the only manager.  I totally would advise anyone from going to a Marriott Timeshare vacation if they don't want to get hassled by these crooks from the other timeshare companies.

I received a call from this number because I purchased a vacation off of another company just like this one call Travel IIG.  I look penumbra on this website and noticed that some people were not sure what the call was in reference to and some people were even a little skeptical, rightfully so.  Anyway I am happy to report that in the future you might want to not only accept the call but take a few minutes and listen to what they have to offer. The person on the other end of the phone gets paid minimum wage so as long as you can put up with some of the hassles that often come with dealing with people that are not happy to be working i promise you it'll be worthwhile in the end.  Okay now here comes the good part. Every year hundreds of new hotels are built and or old ones are demolished and new ones are built in their place. The owners of these hotels hire companies like this on or Travel IIG to get the word out and basically market the new  hotel and the accommodations that come with it. One way they do that is by calling people and offering them the chance to stay at these hotels and extremely reduced rates. What's the catch? The catch is simple they want you to buy a timeshare. I have been on many of these trips and as long as you can put up with one hour of your time spent listening to a sales pitch then this is for you. I have three children and I must tell you we have been to some unbelievable places not only here in the states but out of the country as well. None of this would've been possible without companies like this. To date I have yet to buy a timeshare. However my wife and I simply flip a coin whoever loses goes and sits in the beautiful part of the hotel and listens to somebody speak for about an hour about the benefits of owning a timeshare. At the end we simply grab a business And if you pamphlets and brochures and we had back to meet the rest of the family. I have never been on a trip that I did not receive everything that was promised to me. Anyway please don't be afraid to take a look at these options in the end all that you're basically responsible for is your airfare to the destination and back home. In many cases they cover your meals shows even your rental car while on vacation with them. Like I said if you can spend just one hour listening to a speech you be crazy not to take advantage of deals like this. Just be smart and make sure to have the contact information for the company that you're dealing with and the person's name that you delt with as well. I have paid for all of my trips over the phone using just a credit card once I agree to the location I make my payment and I requested they send me a copy of everything that week is included with the cost of my trip in writing.  I have been on more than a few trips they would've costed us a few thousand dollars and we were able to get them for around $250. It sounds crazy but done correctly this is an opportunity you just can't afford to pass out

I received a call from this number asking me to purchase a vacation from RCI resorts for $300 that could take place withing 18 mts. The caller was very unprofessional when I told him I would not be making a decision on anything like that at this time. He said I couldn't get a deal like that anywhere. My opinion was that I was not going to pay for anything over the phone. He said he was in Orlando Florida.
