Caller ID says, "FL ST OF"

First call today, no message, caller id shows FL ST OF....

1:33 P.M. CT on October 28, 2013: One-and-a-half rings, then hung up.

I have received calls from "dozens" of #'s over the last 3 years.  I'm told if you report the #, they simply switch to a new #(sometimes changing by just 1#).  I reported dozens, but they can hardly trace all the #'s.  I have come to the conclusion that this NOT a scam, but harassment...a quiet form of terrorism, if-you-will.

Yay! I won a trip to Disney and all I had to do was pick-up the phone!!! (said with sarcasm)

The caller id indicated "FL ST OF".  No message left.

very annoying called and didn't answer in time so I rang the #right back with an operatior saying this # is no longer in service.  Seem mighty strange.  huh

Good Ol' Cruise Scam..how i look forward to each and every call. Today it was from Florida, yesterday Tennessee. Not real numbers folks, they are "spoofed" to make it look like a legit call and number. No one will ever get them to stop because it will be impossible to find them. Could be from Ghana, or in your own backyard..who knows. The FCC, FTC is a joke. Have to get off the computer now, I'm getting a call from Texas..wonder who it is?

My phone was called from tis number about 1:00PM.  I have stopped blocking all these unknown out of state calls and just let them ring. That way I still don't pay for cell phone minutes, but do tie up their phone for several seconds.

SAID FL ST OF............407 737 2259  I DO NOT ANSWER ANY NUMBERS I DO NOT KNOW.......RANG A FEW TIMES.........FIGURE IT IS ABOUT DISNEY............

Didn't pick up but I did just come back from Disney so I wonder if it has something to do with that?

Received call from this number at 4:06pm CDT.  I did not answer.  They didn't leave a message.

A scam caller for sure.  Have them blocked, and gives us peace until they change the caller ID (probably spoofed).  Have had hundreds and hundreds of such calls over the years .... never answer unknown numbers, but the calls keep coming through anyway.  Blocking works great, excepting the fact that the scammers now change numbers so often.

Spoofing now makes it impossible to tell what number is really calling.

The only long term solution is Federal legislation that requires all telephone service providers to include a feature that allows the customer to block calls that require a caller to manually enter a PIN (personal Identification number) before the call can be completed.

This won?t happen until our Senators and Representatives get tired of hearing their constituents complain.
Find out who you Senators and Representative is and prepare a stock letter that you can send EVERY TIME you receive an unwanted call.  

Let it go to answering machine. No message. I don't know anyone in Florida.

robo-call - "Congratulations you have been selected for a magical Disney vacation.  Your claim number is ... "(I hung up)

These are spoofed calls about some sort of phony credit cards and obscene phone calls. These are actually conning from a person by the name of Sorin Trancau- his phone number is (214) 369-2800.

He is  a complete fraud and should be reported.

I was lucky enough to get an operator. He stated something about a Walt Disney vacation and my response was stop calling me Mother F**ker!

this is crazy = this number calls us weekly i do not recognize the number so i don't answer it

March of Dimes looking for money.

Am I the only person who wonders what happened to the no call list many of us signed up for so long ago which no longer does anything to stop these annoying telemarketing calls?  I got the 407-737-2259 call today and no one on the phone when my wife answered.  Does anyone buy or allow themselves to get scammed by these people.  I refuse to buy from legit companies if they call me more than once so why would I purchase anything from an unknown telemarketer?

If I don?t recognize the number, I let it ring.  There is no option to leave a message if they wanted to.  After a few days the calls stop but unfortunately the silence is only temporary.  These scam artist by pass the D.N.C. list and continue to be a habitual nuisance, there has to be a way to prevent this from happening.

Call and leave no message. Says it originates in Orlando.  who knows.

I'm pretty sure this phone number is a 'spoof' ie, it's not where the call actually originated.   Not only don't they leave a message but trying to call them to take me off their list didn't work - got a message that it was not a working phone number.
