called a black woman asked for me and I said "Yes?" and she hung up- I called back the number and got a guy who said they sell discount vacations- I said please remove my number from their list as I am a travel agent and I am also on the do not call list, have an unlisted number, etc. He said he would "update the system" so we will see....

We scheduled a stay in Daytona, Florida to view a time share through Spinnaker at The Floridian.
We were promised 4 nights, $50 in food vouchers, and $20 in beach vouchers.
We were to arrive on March 31, 2009.
We purchased an extra night to make it 5 nights total.
Someone called on March 30th to make sure we were coming.
On March 31st when we were driving through Georgia and almost there, someone from Spinnaker called our home phone and said the following, "There has been a change. You will only be able to stay for the original 3 nights. I am giving you a refund for the extra night you purchased. If you have any questions, call XXX-XXXX."
We called and told the person that we have a contract, and Spinnaker is breaking the contract.
It was useless to talk to her or anyone else associated with Spinnaker.
I wouldn't buy a cardboard box from Spinnaker
While I was waiting for The Floridian rep to help up with the room reservation at El Caribe (5 miles away), I looked at the people sitting and walking in the lobby.
Their guests looked bored to death like they couldn't wait for their week to be over

Called and told them to remove me from their list...I told them my number and then she asked for my name! So i said Im not telling you my name just take me off your list. She said have a nice day mam....I hate tele marketers!!

They keep calling asking for Dave and I have repeatedly told them there is no Dave at our number. After the 3rd time telling the same guy this, he says he will put us on their "list", whatever that means.

I've been getting this call as well. I never answer it because I don't know who it is. They never leave a message either. All I get on my caller id is the phone number.

KEEPS CALLING

I have been receiving these calls for the past few weeks.  I did stay at a Spinnaker resort last summer, so it appears from the previous postings that they are trying to sell vacation plans.  Very annoying since this is on my cell phone.

They just started calling in the last few days.  I don't pick up.  Not interested in anything they are selling.  Just wish they would stop.  March 2008

They have called several times. When you pick up the phone, you can hear talking in the background.  But, once you say hello, they hang up.

Spinnacker sounds awfully familiar tho.  Is it possible we are receiving this call because we requested information and they arent just calling to bother us?

This is a telemarketing company Spinnacker reservations selling vacation plans.  After several hangs ups every time I answered the phone I used redial to inquire of their intentions.  It appears they have a automatic dialing system hoping you will return the call so they will not be classified as telemarketers.

WE GET CALLED EVERYDAY AT LEAST ONCE SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY.  WHEN I HAVE ANSWERED THE PHONE THERE IS A LONG SILENCE AND THEN IT DISCONNECTS

Same as the others only I have never done business with these people. I have never heard of them and have not stayed at a resort in florida in over 10 years. (and at that time I didn't have my current phone number). So far all they do is hang up. We get calls all different times of the day and it's every day. We are also on the Do Not Call list so I don't know how they are getting away with this.

I receive a call from Spinnacker Res at least every week, some time more than others.  I stayed at one of their resorts once because we won a weekend as part of a golf tournament.  I wouldn't mind staying there again but not if they continue to hound me.

Caller woke me from my afternoon nap (5PM).  I really needed my sleep in preparation for my night- time job.  I answered w/o looking at my caller ID because I didn't have my glasses on. My last name is a common first name for males.  Female asked to speak with ____ (my last name).  I said "who?"  She tried to pronounce my first name which she assumed was the last name.  I asked "who is this?".  She said "this is Spinnacker Resort". I said "well you have the wrong #" and I hung up.

CALLS TWICE A DAY AND AFTER TWO RINGS NO ONE IS THERE.  I STAYED AT THIS RESORT LAST YEAR BUT WILL NOW BOOK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AS THIS IS JUST ANNOYING.
